Bookkeeper (Full time)Hours: 40 hrs/weekPay: $33-$40 based on experienceReports to: Accountant and Operations ManagerAbout the Role We&rsquo;re looking for a detail‑oriented, trustworthy bookkeeper to support our accountant with day‑to‑day financial operations. This role keeps our books clean, our records organized, and our team informed. Ideal for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and improving small business financial systems.Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Maintain accurate daily and weekly bookkeeping in QuickBooks</li><li>Categorize and reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor transactions</li><li>Prepare monthly reconciliations and ensure accounts are up to date</li><li>Process accounts payable: vendor bills, receipts, reimbursements</li><li>Process accounts receivable: invoicing, payment tracking, follow‑ups</li><li>Support the accountant with month‑end and year‑end close</li><li>Organize and maintain financial records, receipts, and documentation</li><li>Assist with payroll prep (not processing) and time‑tracking accuracy</li><li>Flag discrepancies, missing information, or unusual activity</li><li>Create simple financial reports (P&amp;L, cash flow summaries, budget vs. actuals)</li><li>Improve and document financial workflows as needed</li></ul>Required Skills<ul><li>2+ years of bookkeeping experience (small business experience preferred)</li><li>Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and Online experience</li><li>Solid understanding of basic accounting principles</li><li>Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines</li><li>Comfortable communicating with vendors, team members, and the accountant</li><li>Strong organizational and documentation habits</li></ul>Additional Strengths: <ul><li>Experience supporting a CPA or accountant</li><li>Familiarity with construction, trades, or project‑based businesses</li><li>Ability to streamline workflows or build simple SOPs</li><li>Comfort with Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Docs)</li><li>Payroll experience</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Schedule <ul><li>Hours: 40 hours/week</li><li>Schedule: Mon-Fri</li><li>Pay: $33-$40 based on experience</li></ul>Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
