At Livius Prep, we support students through personalized, high-impact instruction while removing the administrative burden tutors often face. We handle scheduling, billing, and parent communication so you can focus on delivering great sessions and building meaningful relationships with students.
We are currently hiring part-time, in-person Math and Science tutors to work with high school students in our Newton and Lexington centers. This role is ideal for educators, graduate students, and experienced tutors who enjoy structured support, a flexible schedule, consistent students, and professional collaboration.

<ul><li>Provide 1-on-1 in-person tutoring
</li><li>Support students in Math and/or Science subjects
</li><li>Help students build confidence, organization, and academic skills
</li><li>Track progress and communicate with families and staff
</li><li>Create a positive, motivating learning environment
</li></ul>(Test prep and admissions experience is a plus, but not required for all roles.)
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h3>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or in progress) in a related field
</li><li>Strong background in Math and/or Science
</li><li>Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills
</li><li>Reliable transportation within the Boston area
</li><li>Availability for evenings, weekends, and some daytime flexibility
