Compensation: $19.24/HR
What will you be doing?<ul><li>Meet and greet guests as they arrive, gather information such as name, check guest&rsquo;s reservations or log them in as set up.</li><li>Politely take guests to table, hand them menus, wine list, and inform them who their server will be, inform them of specials and leave with a courteous greeting.
</li><li>Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.</li><li>Act as a cashier for Dining Room.</li><li>Thank all guests graciously and invite them to return.</li><li>Assist with banquet event orders and set up for private functions.</li><li>Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation of restaurant area along with personal hygiene.</li></ul>
What do you bring to the role?<ul><li>Ability to read, speak, and write the English language, to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, and reservations.</li><li>Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.</li><li>Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.</li><li>Ability to interact with adults and children in a professional manner.</li><li>Maintain a clean environment and ensure area is always organized.</li><li>Ability to work POS system.</li><li>Computerized Reservation System handling.</li><li>Flexible schedule preferred.</li><li>No prior experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred.</li><li>Cash handling experience preferred.</li></ul>
