Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required.</li><li>
Current CPR required as applicable to assigned area(s)</li><li>
Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.</li><li>
Additional certifications as applicable to assigned area(s):<ul><li>
Home Health Aide certification preferred or must successfully obtain within six (6) months of hire.</li></ul></li><li>
Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.</li><li>
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.</li><li>
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Job Specific Duties:</div><ul><li>
Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership and as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Communicates with assigned leadership in an effort to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.</li><li>
Performs accurate CNA assessment while taking patient&rsquo;s vital signs. Informs appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs and/or changes in the patient&rsquo;s condition, per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies and procedures.</li><li>
Assists patient with activities of daily living as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Accurately and timely documents the care rendered to the patient as defined by department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Assists in maintaining function by maintaining inventory, restocking of rooms, supply areas, maintains equipment for safety and cleanliness, as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.</li><li>
Works with appropriate stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.</li><li>
Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient, provides personal care per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).</li></ul><div></div><div>
