Qualifications:<ul><li>
Minimum of one (1) of the below required:<ul><li>
Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.</li><li>
Graduate of a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.</li></ul></li><li>
Minimum of one (1) of the below licensures required:<ul><li>
Current Montana Physical Therapy Assistant license or possess a temporary Montana PTA license.</li><li>
Eligibility for license to practice as a Montana Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. License must be obtained within ninety (90) days of employment or the first opportunity to sit for the test.</li></ul></li><li>
Minimum of three (3) years Therapy Assistant experience preferred.</li><li>
Current CPR required as applicable to assigned area.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.</li><li>
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.</li><li>
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.</li></ul>
Job Specific Duties:<ul><li>
Effectively plans and provides services in a competent and efficient manner.</li><li>
Assists with implementation and follow through of individualized treatment plans as set forth by the supervising Therapist. Adapts and progresses program as appropriate to achieve goals and expected outcome.</li><li>
Performs patient treatments according to established therapy standards and department policies and procedures. Performs therapy treatment to patients relative to age, culture and conditions of patients as served by the assigned area(s).</li><li>
Accurately and efficiently performs technical skills as delineated by education and experience.</li><li>
Implements and documents specific and individualized treatment programs for patients according to the principles of therapy, LH policy and payer requirements. Completes all required documentation in a timely manner according to payer guidelines (Medicare, Private Insurance, Medicaid) and Montana practice guidelines for therapy</li><li>
Collaborates with leadership to develop goals and discharge planning for patients as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Exhibits knowledge and skill in the use of materials, equipment, processes, procedures and techniques currently used in assigned area(s).</li><li>
Documents treatment and patient&rsquo;s progress in EMR per department procedures.</li><li>
Accurately and timely achieves set productivity standards as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Minimum of one (1) of the following required as applicable to assigned area(s):<ul><li>
Minimum of two (2) years&rsquo; experience in administrative role.</li><li>
Previous healthcare, research, compliance or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Post high school education or vocational training in healthcare.</li></ul></li><li>
Additional requirements as applicable to assigned area(s):<ul><li>
Possess an understanding of medical terminology.</li><li>
Current CPR.</li><li>
Possess knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to Medicare, Medicaid and other payer types.</li><li>
Current Notary Public certification.</li><li>
Possess knowledge and understanding of: medical terminology/abbreviations, ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT and HCPC coding, and fundamental knowledge of basic medical billing procedures.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to design forms utilizing publishing and forms software.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to operate high speed duplication, drill press, paper cutter and laminating machines.</li></ul></li><li>
To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position:<ul><li>
Current Driver&rsquo;s License required.</li><li>
Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.).</li><li>
In addition, personal vehicles used for LH business:<ul><li>
State law minimum liability coverage limits required.</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>
Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.</li><li>

Coordinates and communicates the flow of activity, information, timelines, and daily operations for the assigned area(s).</li><li>
Accurately and timely compiles and presents reports per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Exhibits senior level knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures as they relate to the assigned area(s) and Logan Health.</li><li>
Develops, maintains, and oversees a record-keeping system per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
</li><li>Assists leadership with budget preparation, coordination, provides review and analysis per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Assists with developing and supporting of tracking metrics to support leadership with oversight of effectiveness and supports strategic decision making regarding transitions and growth as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Provides oversight in documenting and documentation collection as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
As applicable to assigned area(s); coordinates credentialing, licensing and other regulatory requirements per department protocol; exhibits overall knowledge of claims and authorization processing for insurance companies including private, commercial and government carriers.</li><li>
Assists with check requests, reimbursement, processes invoices and assists with other financial tasks and tracking as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Proactively anticipates and prepares multi-faceted priorities, agendas and schedules as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Consistently sets priorities resulting in the assigned area(s) functioning in an efficient and orderly manner.</li><li>
Assists assigned leadership in the coordination of staffing, daily schedules, low census, and/or communication as applicable to the assigned area(s).</li><li>
As applicable to assigned area(s): Responsible for understanding billing, collections, insurance verification, tracking authorizations, maintaining medical records, etc.</li><li>
Provides training and orientation of new employees per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Performs data entry and tracking of information as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Coordinates appointments/meetings to include meeting agendas, and transcription of minutes as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Exhibits a commitment to professionalism while undertaking all tasks and in all interactions.</li><li>
Performs quality control on finished jobs to ensure delivered product meets standards and customer expectations as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Assists with various department activities as requested and provides backup coverage for other support staff as applicable to assigned area(s).</li><li>
Responsible for ordering office supplies and maintains a consistent inventory as applicable to assigned area(s).</li></ul>
