THE WORK:
 
<ul><li>You'll monitor all on-site field construction activities associated with the completion of the project.</li><li>
You'll apply comprehensive knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction, as well as the methods and techniques to be utilized for installation.</li><li>
You'll ensure construction operations follow approved work plans and Area Shutdown Requests (ASR&rsquo;s) and all proper notifications are made.</li><li>
You'll become thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of all facilities to be erected</li><li>
You'll ensure all work is being performed with and inspected to the latest versions of plans and specifications, including approved changes, submittals and RFI&rsquo;s.</li><li>
You'll work with Construction Contractor and stakeholders to develop the overall planning of construction activities and identify critical milestones and priorities.</li><li>
You'll monitor budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule as well as the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals.</li><li>
You'll keep alert to possible problem areas and take preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.</li><li>
You'll ensure the use of sound and safe construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost.</li><li>
You'll prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients.</li><li>
You'll ensure effective implementation of all policies and procedures, including project labor agreement policies.</li><li>
You'll perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li><li>
You'll participate in all necessary coordination meetings with the Construction Contractor, trade partners, stakeholders, LAWA Operations, etc. and review Contractor Potential Change Order Claims for Merit and negotiate to final resolution.</li><li>
Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.</li></ul>
