Job description:the Duties:<ul><li>Act independently, with the advice of a Senior Physiotherapist to assess, analyze, and provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention.</li><li>Act independently, with the advice of a Senior Physiotherapist to plan, implement, evaluate, treat, and progress patient care to maximize rehabilitation potential.</li><li>Advance treatment progression of patients with the advice of the Senior Physiotherapist as needed.</li><li>Independently manage a caseload of patients effectively and efficiently, utilizing the advice of a Senior Physiotherapist as needed.</li><li>Ability to examine and treat specific conditions across a range of orthopedic situations at a proficient level</li><li>Provide moderate input into the development of assessment and treatment protocols.</li><li>Contribute to evidence-based practice in the department at a proficient level (ex. Participate in protocol reviews).</li><li>Participate in physiotherapy and team in-service training to promote personal development.</li><li>Agree on a discharge planning of patients, with advice from the Senior Physiotherapist.</li><li>Assist Senior Physiotherapist with staff continuing education.</li><li>Provide in-service briefing following attendance at a course or conference.</li><li>Maintain a proficient standard of ethical and professional behavior when treating and dealing with patients.</li><li>Participate in the departmental personal development and performance review system to promote personal and service developments.</li><li>Liaise with Senior Physiotherapists to gain support and direction in the management of their caseload.</li><li>Work as part of a team to ensure effective communication and care delivery.</li><li>Participate in clinical audits to support the physiotherapy service clinical governance strategy.</li><li>Communicate and recommend to relevant staff disciplines to maximize patient care and promote multidisciplinary teamwork.</li><li>Maintain patient documentation, records, and accurate statistical information to reflect the care provided and meet professional standards.</li><li>Independent charting using Cerner.</li><li>Assume any other responsibilities as directed by the direct supervisor.</li><li>Attend and complete competencies that focus on patient safety initiatives implemented within the Clinic</li><li>Patient Safety Training is an annual requirement, to include all organizational leaders, staff, service and contracted providers.</li></ul>Necessary knowledge and Experience to be able to do the job:<ul><li>4-8 years of orthopedic facility experience.</li></ul>Skills and Abilities :<ul><li>Ability to multi-task and to work with frequent interruptions.</li><li>Meticulous and pays attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to establish good working relationships and to work within a team.</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure.</li><li>A sports physiotherapy background would be advantageous.</li></ul>Education and Certification requirements:<ul><li>A master&rsquo;s degree in physiotherapy is desired.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in physiotherapy or equivalent required.</li><li>Registered with home country Physiotherapy Association.</li><li>Evidence of recent Continued Professional development in orthopedic physiotherapy.</li></ul>Job specific technical Skills<ul><li>Evidence of ability to manage orthopedic caseloads independently.</li><li>Personal insight and reflection skills and is aware of own strengths and weaknesses.</li><li>Orthopedic physiotherapy assessment and treatment skills and knowledge.</li><li>Team Worker.</li><li>Good Communicator.</li><li>Computer skills.</li><li>English Language (written and spoken).</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR9,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
