 **Position Purpose**
 
 
 You will be responsible for identifying and securing small mechanical service projects by marketing and selling targeted repair solutions to property managers and building owners. These projects involve diagnosing issues with commercial HVAC systems, recommending and selling the necessary repairs or parts replacements, and ensuring that the systems are restored to optimal operation. LONG is a recognized leader in the mechanical services industry, providing advanced solutions for maintaining and servicing commercial building HVAC systems with a strong market presence.
 
 
 **Pay Range**
 
 
 : $60,000 - $ 75,000 plus commission

 Manage and grow assigned territory and/or group of accounts consisting of building owners, end-users, and property managers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage with customers through site surveys, cold calls (phone and in-person), and consultations to assess needs, identify deficiencies, and propose tailored HVAC solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Compile pricing of required equipment, materials, subcontractors and repair/installation labor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Compose defined scope of work of the required repair/installation into a written proposal.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to LONG's training and guidance on our sales systems and philosophies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cold calling on the phone and in-person at prospects location.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow through on sold work to ensure satisfactory completion. Ensure a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and monitor progress.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in resolving customer satisfaction issues and collections as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize sale software for sales activity reports, forecast reports, and expense tracking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars. Continue to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills.
 </li>

 Keeps current on market business and product trends.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to all LONG safety standards
 </li>

 **Qualifications**

 1+ years of sales-related work experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Moderate related technical and financial expertise.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of HVAC, energy management, engineering, installation, and construction procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Also demonstrates excellent customer service and computer skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including upper management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
 </li>
 <li>
 High level of accountability and willingness to take responsibility.
