The Cashier/Stock/Front End Associate is responsible for overseeing all front-end operations, cashiering duties, and stock replenishment in a high-volume wine and spirits retail store. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.ResponsibilitiesCashiering<ul><li>Operate cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently</li><li>Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods</li><li>Resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner</li><li>Maintain cash drawer accountability and balance drawers at the end of each shift</li></ul>Stock Management<ul><li>Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed</li><li>Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments</li><li>Ensure proper stock rotation and organization of products</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor</li></ul>Customer Service<ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience</li><li>Assist customers with product selection, recommendations, and inquiries</li><li>Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends</li><li>Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field is preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a wine and spirits store</li><li>Strong leadership and supervisory skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li><li>Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy cases of merchandise (up to 50 lbs)</li><li>Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software</li><li>Availability to work flexible schedules, including some holidays and weekends</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Passion for the wine and spirits industry</li><li>Commitment to providing outstanding customer service</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Attention to detail and organizational skills</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>This role requires candidates to be at least 21 years old.
