<div>The Role:

Lord Abbett seeks a motivated individual to join its Taxable Fixed Income group as an Associate Portfolio Manager to assist with the management of our growing multi-sector and securitized product strategies. This individual will be part of the Real Estate Credit team and will interact with investment professionals across the entire Taxable Fixed Income organization. The role provides an opportunity to team-manage fixed-income portfolios in a highly flat and dynamic organization.</p>
We&rsquo;ll trust you to::
<ul><li>Collaborate with portfolio management, research and trading to help manage our Non-Agency RMBS portfolio</li><li>
Articulate a market view and help drive investment decision making, portfolio positioning, sizing and risk management</li><li>
Work with the team to make recommendations on primary and secondary market opportunities</li><li>
Communicate sector level commentary and ideas to the broader team, department and other firmwide stakeholders</li><li>
Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties and other market participants</li><li>
Demonstrate the highest standards of business leadership, ethics, intellectual curiosity, and collaboration</li></ul>
You'll need to have::
<ul><li>5+ years of portfolio management and trading experience with residential mortgage credit exposure</li><li>
Buy-side experience in a team-oriented environment is preferred</li><li>
Ability to articulate investment objectives in a clear and concise manner with internal and external constituents</li><li>
Ability to multi-task across analytical, tactical, and research activities in a detail oriented and timely manner</li><li>
BA/BS degree required</li><li>
MBA or MS degrees, CFA designation viewed positively but not required</li></ul>

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $160,000 - $185,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.</div><div></div><div><br>

Job Overview:</b></div><div></div><div><br>
The Employee Relations Lead will oversee the firm&rsquo;s employee relations and human capital management and workforce compliance functions, ensuring a positive workplace culture and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role involves developing policies, managing complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with labor and immigration laws, and partnering with stakeholders to mitigate risk. The ideal candidate brings deep human resources expertise, strong people related compliance knowledge, and experience within financial services.</div>

<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain employee relations policies and procedures.</li><li>
Lead investigations and resolve employee relations issues, including documentation and disciplinary actions.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with global labor laws, immigration regulations, and internal policies.</li><li>
Conduct audits and risk assessments related to employee relations, immigration, and HR compliance.</li><li>
Advise employees and managers on employee relations and immigration matters.</li><li>
Draft key documents, including global mobility letters, employee handbooks, and immigration filings.</li><li>
Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance and other teams to align human resources compliance strategies.</li><li>
Monitor and report on compliance metrics and employee relations trends.</li><li>
Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.</li></ul>
You'll need to have::
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).</li><li>
7+ years of experience in employee relations and compliance, ideally in financial services.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of labor laws, immigration policies, and compliance standards.</li><li>
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>
Proficiency with compliance tools, UKG, Microsoft Office, and HR systems.</li></ul>
