I have been retained by a premier boutique matrimonial firm in midtown Manhattan that seeks to hire an experienced trial attorney capable of immediately stepping in to handle complex, high-net-worth matrimonial trials. The ideal candidate will have extensive courtroom experience&mdash;preferably in matrimonial or family law&mdash;but the firm is open to seasoned commercial litigators with substantial first-chair trial experience and a strong interest in transitioning to this practice. I have placed eleven attorneys with the firm.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Serve as trial counsel in contested matrimonial matters</li><li>Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation</li><li>Advise clients in sensitive, high-stakes disputes involving complex financial and personal issues</li></ul>What the Firm Seeks:<ul><li>10+ years of matrimonial or commercial litigation experience</li><li>Significant first-chair trial experience; strong candidates include AUSAs and government prosecutors</li><li>Strong academic credentials</li><li>Matrimonial or family law background preferred but not required</li></ul>What the Firm Offers:<ul><li>Base salary of approximately $270,000-$300,000 (possibly more), depending on background and experience</li><li>Discretionary bonus</li><li>Annual billable hours of 1800</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>In-office presence required at least four days per week</li><li>Collegial, professional environment with premier clientele and top-tier colleagues</li></ul>For immediate consideration, email your resume to Andrew Gurman at andrew@mlordc.com.Job Type: Full-timePay: $270,000.00 - $300,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10022
