Overview We are seeking a local dedicated and passionate Pet Sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be moving to or already living in SWFL; Candidate will have a strong background in animal care. We service all of SWFL; Candidate will be willing to travel to jobs in SWFL. Bilingual is a plus. Pay is based on bookings assigned. You must be over 18 and own your vehicle to apply.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide DAY VISITS and OVERNIGHT care for pets in the client's home, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed in client's home. (This means you might be booked to stay the night in a client's home with their pets)</li><li>Ensure the safety and comfort of pets in your care by maintaining a clean and secure environment.</li><li>Engage with pets through playtime and companionship to promote their mental well-being.</li><li>Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's behavior, health, and any concerns that may arise through company app.</li><li>Perform basic grooming tasks as required, such as brushing fur or cleaning paws.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of pet care routines and any incidents that occur during your time with the animals through company app.</li><li>Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all animals and handlers under care.</li><li>Participate in educational workshops or community outreach programs to promote responsible pet ownership.</li><li>Must be willing to travel.</li><li>Must own your own vehicle and have a valid driver's license.</li><li>Must be available Sunday - Wednesday 6am - 6pm for Dog Walking and Day Visits</li><li>Availability to accept overnights is preferred</li></ul>Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:<ul><li>Previous experience in pet sitting or animal care, vet tech or dog walker is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of animal handling techniques is preffered.</li><li>Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.</li><li>A smartphone is required.</li><li>Experience with equine care or veterinary assistance is beneficial but not required.</li><li>A background in dog training or other animal training methods is beneficial.</li></ul>If you are passionate about animals and committed to providing top-notch care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Pet Sitter.Job Type: Part-timePay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Animal handling: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Cape Coral, FL 33991 (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li><li>Night Shift (Required)</li><li>Overnight Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Cape Coral, FL 33991 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Cape Coral, FL 33991: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>100% (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
