<div><div><b>Psychiatrist (MD) Outpatient/</b> - FT or PT<br>
</div><div><b>Role and Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Provide psychiatric services to include psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of adults and children, medication prescription review, and various treatment modalities as therapeutically appropriate.</li>
<li>Partner with counselors and therapists to support clients during their mental health journey.</li>
<li>The psychiatrist will be team-oriented and skilled in methodologies of collaborative psycho-pharmacotherapy that integrate psychiatric rehabilitation and pharmacotherapy</li>
<li>The psychiatrist will participate in continuous communication with other members of the treatment team and the patient in order to monitor and assess the patient&rsquo;s response to medication and treatment</li>
<li>Participate in initial treatment planning, master treatment planning and treatment plan reviews</li>
<li>Gain an understanding of mental health laws and state and community agencies and organizations serving the mentally ill and substance abuse and community resources available to patients</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>MD/DO degree with approved psychiatry residency in adult and general psychiatry</li>
<li>Current license to practice medicine in the State of California</li>
<li>Provide treatment to severely and persistently mentally ill patients</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in providing treatment to individuals diagnosed with both serious and persistent mental illness as well as chronic substance abuse</li>
<li>Knowledge of mental health laws and state and community agencies and organizations serving the mentally ill and substance abuse</li>
<li>Experience with, or willing to learn use of an electronic medical record system</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication</li>
<li>Empathetic &amp; intuitive listener</li>
<li>Rapport building on a virtual platform and face to face</li>
<li>Comfortable prescribing for anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood disorders, and ADHD</li>
<li>Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (We are not able to sponsor work visas at this time)</li>

<li>Provide care and to treatment to 15-25 patients per day</li>
