Milling MachinistLowell Inc, has an opening for a full time, Monday-Friday, day shift, Machinist to set up and operate CNC vertical 3-axis milling machines. The selected candidate will have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and be team oriented. We are committed to staying on the cutting edge of automation application.Milling Responsibilities:&middot; Set up and operate CNC Milling Machines.&middot; Edit programs to maintain part quality and process efficiency.&middot; Manufacture conforming product through the use and interpretation of part drawings, operation instructions, manufacturing specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.&middot; Perform in-process inspection using inspection equipment and tools to verify dimensional and surface conformity. Uses data to adjust and maintain manufacturing process as needed.&middot; Maintain tooling, equipment, and work area to ensure an organized, safe, and clean environment.&middot; Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the machines.&middot; Performs part finishing operations using a variety of abrasives, deburring tools and equipment.&middot; Collaborate with team members, quality, and engineering departments.&middot; Other duties as needed and assigned.Milling Experience:&middot; Minimum 2 years CNC Machinist experience.&middot; Possesses advanced mechanical drawing reading skills and knowledge of GD&amp;T.&middot; Strong computer skills in order to access, store, create, and log data.Benefits:&middot; Lowell offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k Retirement Plan with 3% employer contribution, and Profit-Sharing plan.Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) 3% Match</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>CNC milling machine: 2 years (Required)</li><li>GD&amp;T: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Brooklyn Park, MN 55445 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
