What You Will Do:</b><br>
This position will be based in our Roseland, NJ or New York, NY office and currently offers a hybrid remote work opportunity.</p><p>
The Business Development Coordinator will support the firm&rsquo;s Litigation Department and its lawyers focused on practices including Commercial Litigation, Employment, Environmental Law &amp; Litigation, Securities Litigation, and White Collar Defense. The position is located in the Roseland, NJ or New York, NY office and reports to the Senior Business Development Manager for the Litigation Department.</p><p><b>
Essential Job Requirements:</b></p><div>
Business Development Planning and Strategy</div><div><ul><li>
Assist the Business Development team in developing and executing on practice group business plans.</li><li>
Support Business Development team with execution of activities aligned with individual attorney business plans.</li><li>
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and issues that may impact clients&rsquo; and prospects&rsquo; businesses and recommend actions to capitalize on them.</li><li>
Coordinate with Business Development colleagues working with other practice groups to ensure marketing activities are aligned across the firm and to facilitate cross-selling opportunities.</li></ul></div><div>
Pitch &amp; Proposal, Experience Tracking, and Marketing Collateral Support</div><div><ul><li>
Provide support in preparing pitch materials and responding to requests for proposal.</li><li>
Gather, organize, and draft matter descriptions to maintain experience lists and database.</li><li>
Assist in the creation of new marketing collateral and ensure existing materials are kept current and are comprehensive.</li><li>
Keep attorney bios, practice group webpages, and mailing lists up to date.</li></ul></div><div>
Awards, Rankings, and Recognition</div><div><ul><li>
Work with the Marketing and Business Development team to track submission and research deadlines for industry awards, rankings and directories (Chambers, Legal 500, etc.).</li><li>
Compile and format submission content by gathering data including matter descriptions, attorney biographies, and client referees.</li><li>
Manage client referee outreach by preparing communication templates, tracking responses, and following up to confirm participation in the research process.</li></ul></div><div>
Communications and Thought Leadership</div><div><ul><li>
Collaborate with attorneys, the Business Development team, and the Communications team on client alerts, including proofreading, distribution, and promotion.</li><li>
Work with the Communications team to promote practice group news, upcoming events, media mentions, awards, and other content.</li><li>
Assist in maintaining content calendar, scheduling, and production for ongoing thought leadership campaigns, including podcasts, videos, and newsletters.</li></ul></div><div>
Events and Sponsorships</div><div><ul><li>
Identify and evaluate event/sponsorship opportunities consistent with practice group strategic plans for attorneys to connect with clients and prospects.</li><li>
Assist in event planning and coordination as needed, working with the firm&rsquo;s Events team.</li><li>
Coordinate deliverables and attorney participation in sponsored events.</li><li>
Work with attorneys to maximize and track ROI on sponsorships.</li></ul></div><div>
Special Projects</div><div><ul><li>
Execute special assignments as required by the practice group or the Marketing and Business Development team.</li></ul></div><div><b>
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s or advanced degree required.</li><li>
A minimum of two years of marketing or business development experience required.</li><li>
Financial, consulting, or legal services marketing experience preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of appropriate marketing and business development methods, processes, and tools.</li><li>
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute accurately and apply guidelines appropriately.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online research tools .</li><li>
Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills and a client service orientation.</li><li>
Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating initiative, accountability, adaptability, and professionalism under pressure.</li></ul></div><div><b>
Office Location: </b>Roseland, NJ or New York, NY (Hybrid)<br>
<b>Schedule:</b> Full-time, Monday through Friday</div><div><ul><li>
NJ: 9:00 am &ndash; 5:00 pm

Amount of Travel Required: </b>Occasional trips to other offices on East Coast or offsite event locations</div><p>
For candidates meeting the requirements, the expected base salary is $70,000 to $80,000. The range provided is the salary that Lowenstein Sandler in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications and location. Our benefits package includes coverage options for medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life insurance, disability, FSAs, 401K, and paid time off.</p><div><b>
