We&rsquo;re currently seeking an Interior Design Coordinator to join our dynamic San Antonio studio. You&rsquo;ll be part of a culture that values deep collaboration, technical excellence, and continual growth. Examples of projects completed by our San Antonio studio include Casis Elementary School, Lanier High School, and Pleasanton Elementary School. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across our studios in California and Texas&mdash;and help bring high-performance, community-first design to life.
What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other disciplines as part of LPA's integrated design process.</li><li>
Contribute to projects throughout their full lifecycle, from conceptual design through construction administration.</li><li>
Partner with Project Managers and Project Designers to execute interior architecture and design assignments.</li><li>
Prepare and coordinate design development and construction documentation, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to project standards.</li><li>
Lead and oversee the production of project documentation completed by junior designers.</li><li>
Review, coordinate, and process construction administration documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and other project correspondence.</li><li>
Research and evaluate building products, materials, and construction methods to support design and technical solutions.</li><li>
Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to junior designers while receiving mentorship and professional development from Project Leaders and Managing Directors.</li></ul>

What We're Looking For:
Required:<ul><li>
Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.</li><li>
5+ years of professional experience across all phases of interior architecture and interior design projects.</li><li>
NCIDQ certification (or actively pursuing certification) required.</li><li>
Proficiency in Revit required.</li><li>
Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, construction materials, detailing, and specifications.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing creative ideas and technical solutions throughout the design process.</li><li>
Proven commitment to producing high-quality, accurate, and well-coordinated construction documents.</li><li>
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
LEED accreditation.</li><li>
experience with Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.</li></ul>

You will join a high performing, fast paced team of multidisciplinary of communication specialists including writers, designers, videographers and marketing specialists. You will be involved in all nine of our market sectors and six disciplines and will be working on a variety of tasks daily. You will have interaction with our CEO and leadership team regularly and will be responsible for task and time management. Every day is different!
What you will do:<ul><li>
Lead the conceptualization and execution of high-quality visual designs across digital and print platforms</li><li>
Maintain and evolve brand identity systems, ensuring consistency across all brand mediums</li><li>
Creative direction and design evolution of Catalyst magazine (print + digital extensions)</li><li>
Design brand materials including campaigns, books, packaging, presentations, templates, landing pages, conference backdrops, and other various print collateral</li><li>
Translate business goals and marketing strategies into innovative creative solutions</li><li>
Provide art direction and mentorship to junior designers</li><li>
Develop and maintain new department processes for elevated workflow.</li><li>
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines</li><li>
Collaborate closely with marketing, firm leadership, practice leaders in all 7 studios, as well as with external partners and clients.</li><li>
Present concepts and design rationale clearly to stakeholders (you will have direct access to leadership)</li><li>
Stay current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies (always evolving)</li></ul>

7-10+ years of professional design experience (agency or in-house)</li><li>
Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and polished execution</li><li>
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)</li><li>
Experience designing for both digital and print production</li><li>
Familiarity with Figma or similar collaborative design /management tools (Mural + Asana)</li><li>
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy</li><li>
Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li>
Strong project management and organizational abilities</li><li>
A sense of humor. Talent and personality are more important than experience.</li></ul>
