The Associate Client Compensation Consultant - Service is responsible for assisting with inbound calls as well as researching and resolving cases regarding compensation inquiries received via phone and email. This role partners closely with other teams within Client Compensation and related business units to research and resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Fielding inbound calls and proactively asking probing questions to offices to assist with full spectrum of inquiries.</li><li>
Researching and following through to resolution on cases created from inbound calls and emails.</li><li>
Assuming ownership of complex situations, setting expectations, and taking appropriate actions to resolve inquiries in a timely manner - such as initiating outbound calls and emails to third-party sponsors and carriers.</li><li>
Supporting teammates and the department on other compensation tasks and activities such as training and backup to staff. Also, assisting in the training of new hires and fielding complex inquires received via phone and email.</li><li>
Assisting with initiatives to improve and enhance the Advisor experience while positively impacting the broader LPL organization.</li><li>
Providing consultation to offices and internal business partners to educate on commissions structures.</li><li>
Educating and consulting with advisors and their staff on the use of technology and reporting any issues to increase efficiencies.</li><li>
Outreaching to advisors proactively and on time in regard to sensitive activities - such as billing events, tax season prep, etc.</li><li>
Processing advisor compensation corrections when needed and assisting with new advisor Onboarding by updating the payout rules on their rep setups.</li><li>
Assisting with advisor conversions to different affiliation models with LPL on scheduled payouts and sometimes mid-cycle.</li></ul>

Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree OR 3+ years in operations or comparable experience in the Financial Services industry</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and working with Pivot tables)</li></ul>

Job Overview:
As an Analyst in SS&amp;P you will be responsible for executing the sourcing and procurement process to procure various products and services for LPL. As such, you will work closely with a number of internal stakeholders in the selection, use and management of external vendors across the LPL Technology portfolio. This includes supporting the management of the entire sourcing process for assigned categories with a constant focus on working collaboratively with leadership, understanding and managing strategy, vendor selection and due diligence, contract negotiations, costs to budget, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
A fundamental component of the role is change management and the ability to lead the transformation of SS&amp;P into a strategic partner across the firm.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Negotiating low - medium dollar (&lt;$250K) &amp; risk contracts with key vendors. Contracts include, but are not limited to: MSAs, SaaS Agreements, EULAs, SOWs</li><li>
Review contracts to ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures, and to escalate concerns to legal and business partners</li><li>
Assist VP in creating training documents, reports, best practices documentation for Technology commodities</li><li>
Assist VP in the analysis and development of category plans to provide visibility to spend, vendor summaries, contract summaries, stakeholder engagement, and market insights that lead to both short and long-term strategies</li><li>
Act as the reporting / analytical SME for the team; perform financial analysis, spend &amp; Ariba reporting</li><li>
Partner with business groups to issue, evaluate and conduct RFx</li><li>
Bring thought leadership to identify additional cost and operational efficiencies</li><li>
Work in collaboration with multiple departments and business partners to develop strategy, policy and/or resolution of issues</li><li>
Present recommendations and commodity plans to SS&amp;P leadership team and business</li><li>
Represent and advocate SS&amp;P strategies and goals across the firm</li><li>
Challenge assumptions, opinions, and decisions in a diplomatic way to ensure that actions taken are in the organization&rsquo;s best interest</li><li>
Review contracts to ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures, and to escalate concerns to legal and business partners.</li><li>
Process contract terminations, expirations, extensions and renewals.</li><li>
Manage contract request queue in our procure-to-pay system, ARIBA, in a timely manner and within SLA.</li><li>
Support projects to continuously improve the capabilities of the SS&amp;P organization</li><li>
Foster a positive, diverse and inclusive culture through education and communication</li><li>
Represents and advocate SS&amp;P strategies and goals across the firm.</li></ul>
