LSE Architects is seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator/Pursuit Specialist to help lead pursuit and marketing initiatives. Based in Minneapolis, we are a 45+ person architecture, interior design and planning firm that has experience in community/civic, education, gaming/hospitality, housing, private development, retail, non-profit and workplace markets. We are in search of an energetic professional who can work with our leadership team on a range of initiatives to help us build our successful national practice.Job Summary and AccountabilitiesThe Marketing Coordinator / Pursuit Specialist plays a key role in driving our pursuit and marketing efforts from kickoff through the client's final decision. This highly organized, detail-oriented professional ensures that proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral are executed with clarity, consistency, and creativity.Ideal candidates are proactive, dependable, and calm under pressure, especially when managing multiple deadlines. You take pride in thoroughness, follow-through, and delivering high-quality work that reflects our firm's design excellence.This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including firm leadership, project architects, interior designers, and administrative staff. The work is fast-paced and varied, often requiring flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively. The successful candidate brings a passion for design, storytelling, and visual communication, along with a continual drive to elevate our materials and innovate our pursuit process.Primary responsibilities<ul><li>Leads or supports the strategic development of pursuits from RFP evaluation of requirements, proposal creation, coordination with sub-consultants, form completion, interview preparation, including all submittals, whether print, electronic, or public portal.</li><li>Maintains proposal schedules and diligently manages pursuit teams through deadlines by issuing drafts, consistently checking with pursuit leaders, scheduling review meetings, and submitting final proposals.</li><li>Enhances proposal content by evaluating technical and marketing content, collaborating with internal staff and consultants, and creative storytelling/writing and copyediting proposal content.</li><li>Develops supporting graphics that enhance pursuit messages (schedules, tables, infographics, photography)</li><li>Performs critical self- and peer-analysis to assure quality of content, graphics, layout, and brand compliance.</li><li>Gathers information on past/current projects and staff experience to develop project summaries and staff resumes.</li><li>Properly archives response materials.</li></ul>Additional responsibilities<ul><li>Supporting consistent maintenance and improvement of the marketing database through data collection and system integrations.</li><li>Creating brand-compliant graphics to support advertising, digital content, and other printed collateral.</li><li>Supporting web and social media maintenance.</li><li>Event coordination, including material preparation for conferences/expos, internal and external events, and project photography support.</li><li>Occasional project-related support and special projects (as assigned).</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, business administration or communications with 5+ years of experience in A/E/C industry leading proposal efforts in a professional services firm.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in the use and application of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong composition and editing skills. Interest and ability to write compelling prose for various uses and audiences (AP Style).</li><li>Elevated graphic design sensibility and skills (understanding of how to reflect the brand in materials, messaging and understanding principles of quality document layout).</li><li>Demonstrated &quot;self-starter&quot; with a history of completing projects independently.</li><li>Presentation of a portfolio may be requested.</li><li>A cover letter is required with all applications.</li></ul>Additional qualifications that may be considered for the position but not required:<ul><li>Experience using Digital Asset Management software (Open Asset) and other database management software.
