<div>The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Department of Surgery in the School of Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a BE/BC (or equivalent) pediatric plastic surgeon for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor; academic rank and track will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and stature in the field. Responsibilities include clinical care, research, and teaching in plastic surgery. This position will have opportunities for involvement with pediatric cases involving craniofacial surgery, microsurgery and general plastic surgery. Clinical activities will be primarily centered at Manning Family Children&rsquo;s, a full service, regional facility. There are leadership opportunities within the department and within the clinical partner hospital administration for candidates with leadership and management experience. Additionally, this position is responsible for auditing data and insuring compliance with all Compensation programs.</div>

Qualifications listed below are for the Manager level position. Key responsibilities of the position include:<br>
<ul><li>Analyze new and revised position descriptions against benchmark jobs, utilizing approved market data sources and scopes to determine current market value of positions</li><li>Recommend and negotiate salary adjustments for promotion, reclassification, equity and retention purposes</li><li>Recommend updates to salary structure as necessary to maintain parity with current external market</li><li>Conduct pay analyses in response to requests for optional pay for additional duties determining if additional pay is appropriate based on objective criteria</li><li>Participate in external salary surveys appropriately matching the University&rsquo;s positions to survey jobs</li><li>Audit FLSA statuses and salary grades checking for consistency within like position titles on a regular basis</li><li>Evaluate current compensation programs and assist in the development and implementation of improvement plans and systems</li><li>Development and delivery of compensation training and communications</li><li>Work collaboratively with HR team members to streamline and integrate HR processes to provide quality service to customers</li></ul></div>

<div><div>The LSUHSC Cancer Center is seeking faculty members who are committed to excellence in research that addresses biology and treatment of cancers that disproportionately burden the residents of Louisiana. The Cancer Center is actively pursuing NCI designation. Leveraging significant support from the State of Louisiana, Louisiana State University (LSU), our hospital partner, LCMC Health, the Louisiana Cancer Research Center (LCRC), and donors, we have a dynamic strategic plan that will achieve this goal.<br>

Faculty candidates should posses demonstrated expertise in (but not limited to) technological innovation, cancer-relevant molecular and cellular biology, genomics, epigenetics, infectious etiologies, tumor immunology, obesity, and/or cancer therapy development. An exceptional track record of accomplishments and sustained funding are preferred.</div><div>

Selected scientists will be offered competitive start-up funds commensurate with expertise and productivity. Rank and track to be determined by qualifications.
