Ability to learn and be efficient in the RTS computer system.</li><li>
Responsible for sticker paper and keeping license plates organized.</li><li>
Responsible for accurate accounting of money and cash drawer.</li><li>
Responsible for processing title transfers on cars, trucks, trailers and motorcycles.</li><li>
Responsible for processing over-the-counter title customers, title mail and dealer packets.</li><li>
Ability to learn and follow motor vehicle title laws and procedures.</li><li>
Ability to assist customers on phone with title and registration questions.</li><li>
Ability to complete any assigned task as given by supervisor.</li><li>
Must have dependable transportation with ability to work in any of the offices assigned.</li></ul></div><p></p>

<p></p><div><p><b>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:</b>High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to solve practical problems. Successfully pass a typing test. Ability to communicate with customers effectively in person, on the phone and through electronic communication. Ability to learn and be efficient in the applicable computer systems. Ability to complete any assigned task as given by Supervisor and Team Leader.</p></div><p></p>

<p></p><div><p><b>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</b> Contemporary archival and records management principles and practices; ability to analyze and solve complex issues pertaining to archival methods and procedures; advance interpersonal, organizational, planning, project management, and oral and written communication skills; ability to recall/access rules regulations and laws relating to archives/records center and public record. Familiarity with the relevant office equipment, computer systems or other specialized software programs used to catalog, store and disburse archival records. Ability to interpret the motor vehicle registration and title manual and the motor vehicle tax manual. Ability to speak effectively before a group of people. Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to balance a cash drawer. Ability to proficient in the RTS computer system and any other applicable software.</p><p><b>
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: </b>Maintain the ability to frequently stand, walk up and down stairs, kneel, and bend during the work period. Reach, grip and use fine dexterity. Push and pull objects. Occasionally flex upper trunk forward at the waist and partially at the knees. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to, 50 pounds, such as books, file boxes and stacks of records. Occasionally rotate upper trunk to the left or right while sitting or standing; place arms above, at or below shoulder height. Use of vision and depth perception required to include color vision. Work is in a warehouse environment and an office workspace. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing and/or sitting for long periods of time.</p><p><b>

<br><b>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</b> Must possess excellent research and writing skills and a strong ability to communicate and get along with others. Must possess sufficient common sense and legal skills combined to make important legal decisions on complex issues. Need to have basic computer and typing skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Daily duties require sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, and bending as well as speaking to and listening to other people. This job will be performed in the usual and customary office and courtroom settings. Minimal heavy lifting and driving duties are required. The workweek is usually 40 hours per week, but maybe longer if you are preparing for a trial.Salary and Benefits: The salary is $80.000.00 to $95,000.00, depending on experience. The successful applicant will also receive a full benefits package from Lubbock County.
