We are seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer - Chassis Brakes Systems to drive best-in-class product quality throughout the development process. Our Corporate Supplier Industrialization team empowers the rapid industrialization of innovative products. The Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams and suppliers to balance design innovation with robust manufacturing for optimal quality.</p><br>

The Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer selected for this position will play a key role in developing and industrializing Brakes Systems at supplier sites to ensure the success of the Lucid programs. The candidate must have experience with Brakes components such as:</p><br>

<li>Brake Rotors</li>
<li>Electronic Parking Brakes</li>
<li>Brake Lines</li>
<li>Brake Jounce Hoses</li>
<li>iBoosters</li>
<li>ESP Modules</li>

and must have knowledge of processes such as casting, heat treatment, machining, coating, extrusion, bending, welding, general assembly,</p><br>

You will:</p><br>
<p></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop, manage, and improve the APQP process with suppliers from the initial design stage through PPAP submission and the start of mass production.</li>
<li>Lead design review and ensure manufacturing needs (DFM/A) for Chassis Brakes Systems are considered in the design phase and that proper quality expectations are defined.</li>
<li>Be responsible for driving and tracking all Tier suppliers responsible Engineering Design Change activities.</li>
<li>Work cross functional with Design Engineering, Purchasing, New Projects Implementation, Plant level Manufacturing, Incoming Quality, Material Planning and Plant SQEs to ensure the proper development of the brake components as well as making sure Lucid plants and final customers are protected.</li>
<li>Perform supplier assessments, audits and site inspections for sourcing; develop process improvement plans and drive implementation; monitor and maintain performance metrics</li>
<li>Have ability to travel 25-75% on average on a short term or long-term basis to Lucid Motors and supplier sites globally on a short notice</li>
<li>Document processes and compliance with ISO9001 and AIAG/ IATF16949 industry standards</li>
<li>Analyze data from supplier and assembly plant builds to assess capability of meeting requirements to complete the build.</li></ul><br>

You Bring:</p><br>
<p></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.</li>
<li>Master's degree in engineering preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing or assembly plant environments within Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, R&amp;D, or Manufacturing Engineering. Automotive industry experience preferred.</li>
<li>At least 5 years of hands-on APQP and PPAP project management.</li>
<li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and drawings. In-depth knowledge of chassis quality standards and specifications.</li>
<li>Comprehensive understanding of product quality lifecycle stages and associated quality gates.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills, technical writing proficiency, and mastery of quality tools (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, DFM/A, GD&amp;T).</li>
<li>Certification preferred - American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.</li>
<li>Proven ability to collaborate effectively, leverage data, and innovate solutions.</li>
<li>Demonstrated adaptability, a positive attitude, and a strong problem-solving orientation.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on timely delivery</li></ul><br>

We are seeking a world class Sr. Global Supply Manager, Restraints &amp; Safety. You will manage Restraints and Safety Direct Procurement across all Lucid Vehicle Programs and are the key internal interface with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver world class products on time with right cost, quality, and sustainability. You will establish our global supply chain strategies, support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases, and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.</p><br>

You Will:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers with right qualifications and core competencies to meet Lucid's vehicle/commodity specifications, commercial requirements, and standards.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Create and issue RFQs, negotiate with suppliers and develop strategic sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time and technical considerations.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Thoroughly negotiate favorable contracts including parts pricing, tooling costs and Engineering Services (NRE / EDT)</li>
</ul><ul><li>Work with suppliers and Engineering to release parts into production and issue POs for Prototype Parts and Prototype/Production Tooling</li>
</ul><ul><li>Manage supplier development and tooling timelines, part availability for prototype builds/start of production and develop solutions to delays or problems that arise.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Maintain overall supplier relationships and act as point of contact for all commercial issues, including internal report-outs summarizing sourcing status, parts availability and cost status.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Achieve BOM cost reductions through negotiation, resourcing, and VAVEs.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Travel 10-25% to visit suppliers to perform business and support various supplier performance related matters such as industrialization, operations, and cost optimization.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>You Bring:</b></p>

<li>Ownership and One-Team Mindset</li>
</ul><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in technical, supply chain or finance discipline - MBA preferred but not required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.</li>
</ul><ul><li>5+ years of working experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, or Engineering in Restraints &amp; Safety parts: Steering Wheel, Driver/Curtain/Passenger/Knee/Seat Airbags, Seatbelts, etc</li>
</ul><ul><li>Extensive experience in sourcing two or more of the following restraints and safety commodities: Steering Wheel, Driver/Curtain/Passenger/Knee/Seat Airbags, Seatbelts, etc.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Enthusiasm and curiosity for understanding the in-scope manufacturing processes for assigned commodities.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Product launch experience preferred with a high emphasis on knowledge of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Strong interpersonal skills, with a team-first mindset that creates a vibrant, cohesive environment to help resolve problems, cascade best practices and deliver optimal results.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and sense of ownership that leads to effective hand-on execution.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage complex suppliers, mitigate unforeseen problems and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities</li>
</ul><ul><li>Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP &amp; P2P systems (SAP, Coupa, or equivalent)</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p>

<li>Advanced degree in a relevant field</li>
</ul><ul><li>Experience with complex analysis and data analytics in supply chain context</li>
</ul><ul><li>In-depth understanding of automotive restraints market dynamics and pricing mechanisms</li>
</ul><ul><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and make strategic decisions</li>
</ul><ul><li>Creative problem-solver with calculated risk-taking ability</li>
</ul><ul><li>Experience in supplier relationship management and dispute resolution</li>
</ul><ul><li>Knowledge of automotive industry trends and emerging technologies in restraints &amp; safety components</li>
</ul><ul><li>Cost Engineering experience</li>
</ul><ul><li>Start-up working experience is plus</li>
</ul>
