```Duties```- Process and manage payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations- Maintain employee records and update changes in employment status, tax withholding, and deductions- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation```Requirements```- Experience with payroll software such as Famous Software is preferred- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk- Piece-Rate pay understanding- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices- Proficient in 10-key typing and data entry skills- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data- Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues effectively- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
