OverviewLucky Onion is a luxury stationery and event branding studio specializing in bespoke invitations, signage, and custom-fabricated event elements. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented contractor to support our estimating and sourcing functions on a very part-time, as-needed basis (1&ndash;3 hours per week average). This role is ideal for someone familiar with print production, materials, fabrication vendors, and event-industry project workflows.Scope of Work / ResponsibilitiesEstimating &amp; Quoting<ul><li>Assist in reviewing project outlines to identify production needs.</li><li>Compile cost estimates for custom stationery, signage, and fabricated event elements (e.g., escort displays, installations).</li><li>Gather pricing from printers, fabricators, specialty finishers, and materials suppliers.</li><li>Prepare quotes for internal and client review.</li></ul>Sourcing &amp; Procurement Support<ul><li>Research and source specialty papers, materials, fabrication components, hardware, and finishes.</li><li>Compare vendor pricing, availability, lead times, and minimums.</li><li>Maintain an organized list of preferred vendors and production partners.</li></ul>File &amp; Project Support<ul><li>Review basic specs (dimensions, quantity, materials) to confirm production accuracy before quotes are created.</li><li>Flag potential production or materials issues early.</li><li>Assist with research tasks related to fabrication methods or unique project requests.</li></ul>Communication &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Send and track estimate requests to vendors.</li><li>Follow up on outstanding pricing or materials inquiries.</li><li>Communicate availability and timeline expectations for project turnaround.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience in stationery, print production, fabrication sourcing, or event branding is advantageous and preferred.</li><li>Understanding of materials used in luxury stationery, signage, and small-scale fabrication.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Clear, timely communication.</li><li>Ability to work independently on small and large, project-based tasks.</li></ul>Key Attributes<ul><li>Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable reaching out to new vendors.</li><li>Familiar with industry materials (acrylics, woods, metals, foamboard, custom fabrication options).</li><li>Enthusiasm for the wedding + events space and a strong design-forward mindset is a bonus</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 1.0 &ndash; 3.0 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How many years of experience do you have in the print production world?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Procurement: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Cost accounting: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
