Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our program finance team. As a key partner to our Program Managers and Technical Leads, you will provide comprehensive financial oversight for complex contract financials. This role goes beyond simple reporting; you will act as a business advisor, ensuring strict compliance with government regulations (FAR/DFARS), planning, monitoring and report transactions, and optimizing contract performance.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on user of Deltek or Unanet who enjoys digging into the data, mentoring junior staff, and driving financial accuracy across a diverse portfolio of contract types (CPFF, FFP). As LufCo continues to grow and evolve our portfolio, we are looking for someone who embraces new systems and AI tools.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Program Financial Management &amp; Analysis<ul><li>
Manage the full financial lifecycle of assigned contracts, including Cost Plus (CPFF/CPIF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Time &amp; Materials (T&amp;M) contract types.</li><li>
Partner with Program Managers to develop annual and period plans, monthly forecasts, and Estimates to Complete (ETC/EAC).</li><li>
Conduct variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast) and provide actionable insights to program leadership to mitigate risks.</li><li>
Coordinate directly with project teams to ensure proper labor charging, expense allocation, and resource planning.</li></ul></li><li>
Material &amp; Supply Chain Finance<ul><li>
Oversee financial tracking of material transactions and inventory for integration projects, ensuring accurate cost recognition and billing.</li><li>
Monitor Open Commitments and Open Purchase Orders to ensure accurate accruals and cash flow forecasting.</li><li>
Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to reconcile bill of materials (BOM) costs against program budgets.</li></ul></li><li>
Compliance, Reporting &amp; Invoicing<ul><li>
Ensure strict adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) across all financial activities.</li><li>
Track and manage contract reporting requirements (CDRLs) to ensure timely submission of financial data to government customers.</li><li>
Review and approve billing/invoices prior to submission, ensuring alignment with contract terms and prompt payment.</li><li>
Support internal and external audits (DCAA/DCMA) by maintaining pristine financial records and documentation.</li></ul></li><li>
Systems &amp; Mentorship<ul><li>
Serve as a subject matter expert for the company's ERP system (Deltek Costpoint or Unanet), ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.</li><li>
Mentor and train junior financial analysts, providing guidance on government contracting nuances, Excel modeling, and compliance standards.</li><li>
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial reporting processes and reduce cycle times.</li></ul></li></ul> 
 
Qualifications 
Education: 
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.</li></ul>
Experience:
<ul><li>5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&amp;A) or program control within the Aerospace &amp; Defense (A&amp;D) or Government Contracting industry.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience managing financials for a Defense Integrator or Manufacturer (hardware/material handling experience is essential).</li></ul>
Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Deltek Costpoint or Unanet (GL, Projects, and Materials modules).</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards).</li><li>
Expert-level Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling).</li><li>
Experience pricing and managing various CLIN structures and contract modifications.</li><li>
Strong leadership capabilities with a desire to mentor and develop less experienced team members.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business narratives for non-financial program managers.</li><li>
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential data.</li></ul>

 Summary
 
 
 
 A Logistics Engineer, with mechanical engineering sensibilities, is responsible for designing and managing the Integrated Logistics Support Plan. This role will analyze and improve logistics strategies, optimize procedures, manage inventories, and maintain logistics-related reports. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge in mechanical engineering, strong problem-solving abilities, a knack for data analysis, and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain procedures. They should also be able to develop innovative solutions to logistical problems and work closely with supply chain managers, warehouse managers, and transportation managers.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) &amp; Sustainment
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Develop, implement, and manage the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) across the system's lifecycle, from design and development through deployment and sustainment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), including Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), to optimize system reliability, maintainability, and supportability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee generation of technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, provisioning data, and logistics technical data packages, ensuring compliance with military standards (e.g., MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007).
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Supply Chain and Inventory Management
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Establish / lead team in initial provisioning plans, spares lists (SL-3), and repair parts lists for all system components (drones, shelters, power systems, and processing equipment).
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to identify long-lead time items and manage the logistics pipeline to prevent operational delays.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and manage the inventory control system for deployed and depot-level assets, focusing on optimal stock levels and minimizing obsolescence risk.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Maintenance Planning and Support
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define and validate the system's Maintenance Concept, including organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures for all system elements, particularly the complex drone and power generation sub-systems.
 </li>

 Coordinate support equipment (SE) requirements, including special tools and test equipment necessary for field and depot repairs.

 Training and Manpower

 Determine Manpower and Personnel (M&amp;P) requirements necessary to operate and maintain the systems.

 Define and support the development of logistics and maintenance training programs for end-users and support personnel.

 Data and Reporting

 Track and report on key logistics metrics, including Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) data, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and logistics footprint.

 Utilize logistics modeling and simulation tools to forecast sustainment costs and recommend system or support architecture changes to improve life cycle cost (LCC).
 </li>
 <li>
 Designing and implementing supply chain networks to optimize resource use and reduce costs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Developing logistic plans and strategies to improve the efficiency of operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyzing data to understand and improve the logistic processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluating vendor operations according to quality standards and delivery capacity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating and planning warehouse, distribution and transportation operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Developing risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborating with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, and shipping.
 </li>

 Developing procedures for logistics management to optimize product workflow and minimize cost.
 </li>
 <li>
 Using software systems for scheduling and tracking shipments.

 Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

 Qualifications

 10+ years performing as logistics engineer.

 Proven experience as a Logistics Engineer or similar role.

 Knowledge of logistics systems, practices, and procedures.

 Proficient in data analysis and logistics software.

 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
