We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager &ndash; Tax Provision and Foreign Compliance to join our tax team in San Jose. Reporting to the Tax Director, this role will be heavily involved in the preparation and management of the Company&rsquo;s global income tax provision process under ASC 740, foreign compliance activities, and technical tax matters.</b></h3><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
The ideal candidate is comfortable preparing detailed tax provision workpapers, managing recurring deadlines, coordinating with internal and external parties, and improving processes in a growing global tax environment.</b></h3><p></p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Prepare significant portions of the quarterly and annual global tax provision, including current tax expense, deferred tax expense, effective tax rate analysis, tax account reconciliations, uncertain tax positions (FIN48), and valuation allowance supporting workpapers.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Prepare and support tax-related financial statement disclosures, including the effective tax rate reconciliation, deferred tax disclosures, uncertain tax position disclosures, valuation allowance disclosures, and income tax footnote support.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Manage the tax provision calendar and coordinate with Accounting, FP&amp;A, regional finance teams, and external advisors to support timely and accurate reporting.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Review foreign tax provision packages prepared by regional teams, external advisors, or other contributors to ensure accuracy and consistency.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Partner with Accounting and FP&amp;A to understand book results, forecasts, non-recurring transactions, legal entity activity, and other items that may impact the tax provision.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Maintain and improve internal controls, supporting documentation, and SOX-compliant processes related to the global tax provision.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Coordinate with local finance teams and external service providers, review foreign income tax returns, and prepare return-to-provision analyses for foreign entities to ensure compliance results are appropriately reflected in the global tax provision.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Support Pillar Two / GLoBE implementation and reporting, including data gathering, jurisdictional analysis, safe harbor assessments, workpaper preparation, and coordination with external advisors.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Support U.S. international compliance filings in partnership with the U.S. Tax Manager, including preparation and review of relevant forms, workpapers, and supporting schedules.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Coordinate with transfer pricing team to ensure alignment between tax provision, compliance, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing documentation.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Track tax risk areas and support appropriate reporting, controls, and escalation to the Tax Director.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate tax provision, compliance, and reporting processes, enhance data collection processes across global entities to support timely and accurate tax provision and compliance reporting.</b></h3></li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications:</b></h2><ul><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
8-10 years of progressive tax experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a combination of both.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Business, or a related field.</b></h3></li><li><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Product Engineering Data Analyst</b></h1><p>
We are looking for a Product Engineering Data Analyst to help the Product Engineering team access, analyse, and act on product, process, yield, and test data faster and more consistently. As a member of the Product Engineering team, you will support data-driven decision making in areas such as yield improvement, product performance, material review, manufacturability, and zero-defect culture.</p><p>
This is the team's go-to builder of analysis tools, dashboards, and data packages &mdash; the person who turns slow, manual, one-off data work into fast, repeatable, maintainable software support. When an engineer needs data pulled, a tool rebuilt, or a recurring report stood up, you're who they come to.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
The Role</b></h2><p>
This role suits either:</p><ul><li>
A Product / Process / Test / Manufacturing Engineer moving further into data analytics, or</li><li>
A Data Science / Analytics professional moving closer to Product Engineering, manufacturing, yield, and product performance.</li></ul><p>
You'll work across Product, Process, and Test Engineering, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, IT / data-system owners, and local and global Data Science &amp; Analytics teams. Primary accountability stays within Product Engineering priorities, with business ownership set by the Product Engineering Manager.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You'll Do</b></h2><ul><li>
Create tools that pull product, process, yield, and test data faster &mdash; and recreate legacy tools that are no longer stable, maintainable, or fit for purpose.</li><li>
Maintain and improve Product Engineering reports, dashboards, and reporting execution (creation, maintenance, validation, improvement).</li><li>
Build product-health dashboards and recurring scorecards.</li><li>
Extract, clean, validate, analyse, and present data from multiple sources; validate data quality before outputs are used for engineering decisions.</li><li>
Create repeatable analysis methods across wafer-, bar-, die-, device-, and final-test levels.</li><li>
Support yield, trend, and parametric analysis, failure Pareto / failure-mode analysis, and product performance monitoring.</li><li>
Support investigations into yield loss, scrap, rework, lot holds, and tool excursions by correlating process history, tool history, metrology, SPC, and test results.</li><li>
Improve self-service access to common Product Engineering data, working with IT, DSA, MES owners, and other data owners.</li><li>
Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>
Support structured problem-solving (8D, DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen) where data analysis is required.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Minimum Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.</li><li>
Experience in at least one of: Product / Process / Test / Manufacturing Engineering; Data Science / Analytics; or manufacturing, quality, or yield analytics.</li><li>
Practical experience working with engineering, manufacturing, product, process, test, quality, or operational data &mdash; including incomplete, imperfect, or ambiguous data.</li><li>
Experience creating, maintaining, improving, or using analysis tools, dashboards, reports, or automated workflows with at least one of:<ul><li>
Analysis / scripting: JMP, JMP Scripting Language (JSL), Python, SQL, R, VBA, Excel / Power Query</li><li>
Reporting / automation: Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate</li></ul></li><li>
Basic applied statistics: trend analysis, distributions, correlation, regression, SPC, capability analysis, DOE review.</li><li>
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and interest in working close to Product Engineering, manufacturing operations, yield improvement, and product performance.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>
Semiconductor wafer fabrication, III-V / InP processing, optical component manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or another high-complexity manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Understanding of wafer fab flow, product routing, WIP movement, lot history, rework loops, scrap, tool constraints, and metrology limitations.</li><li>
Experience with MES, SPC systems, and test / yield / engineering databases or manufacturing reporting systems.</li><li>
Experience with wafer-, die-, bar-, device-, or final-test yield analysis, and correlating process / tool history, metrology, SPC trends, and test results.</li><li>
Experience supporting material review / MRB, 8D, or excursion review.</li><li>
