Our team becomes a trusted extension of the families we serve, providing compassionate, individualized support that helps children and adults thrive in their daily lives.We are seeking a reliable, patient, and engaging Family Support Specialist to support a wonderful child with autism in the Pflugerville/Georgetown area.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide one-on-one support in the home and community</li><li>Facilitate play, social engagement, and meaningful activities</li><li>Assist with daily routines and transitions</li><li>Support emotional regulation and positive behavior strategies</li><li>Accompany clients on community outings, parks, recreational activities, and appointments as needed</li><li>Maintain a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment</li><li>Communicate professionally with families and supervisors</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with autism, developmental disabilities, special needs, childcare, education, ABA, or caregiving preferred</li><li>Dependable transportation and valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in challenging situations</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Must pass a background check</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForWe are not looking for a babysitter. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
