Responsibilities: - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs - Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Change diapers and assist with potty training - Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues - Communicate with parents about their child's day and progress - Maintain a clean and organized childcare areaRequirements: - First aid and CPR certification - Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting - Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate activities for each age group - Ability to provide infant, toddler, preschool, and special needs care - Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors - Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
