<div>Job Summary 
 
The Biomedical Technician II is responsible for evaluating, repairing, inspecting, and performing preventive maintenance on medical devices used in patient care across facilities and affiliated institutions. This role ensures patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality service, working independently with minimal supervision. This role provides guidance to junior technicians. 
 
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Performs incoming inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and repairs on biomedical equipment within assigned timeframes.</li>
<li>Documents all service activities accurately and maintains up-to-date records of equipment maintenance and repairs.</li>
<li>Oversees inventory of biomedical equipment, parts, and tools, ensuring necessary supplies are available for timely repairs and maintenance.</li>
<li>Assists with the acquisition, installation, and integration of medical equipment as directed.</li>
<li>Supports the Clinical Engineering Supervisor in project scheduling, cost estimation, and design of installations and remodel work.</li>
<li>Provides training and education to hospital staff on the proper operation, inspection, and maintenance of biomedical equipment.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains written procedures for equipment operation and maintenance as assigned.</li>
<li>Collects and analyzes performance improvement data to support process enhancements and operational efficiency.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Maintains regular and reliable attendance.</li>
<li>Complies with all policies and standards.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
2-4 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair required
</li><li>Experience in a hospital or healthcare facility setting preferred
</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<ul><li>
Strong technical knowledge of biomedical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.</li>
<li>Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for equipment testing and calibration.</li>

<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide training and collaborate with healthcare teams.</li>

<div>Job Summary 
 
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated tasks in alignment with the PCT's training and the department's needs. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (LVN at Texas facilities), the PCT supports patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe and organized care environment, and ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team. 
 
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Assists nursing staff in delivering care, performing delegated basic patient care services, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized environment.</li><li>
Collects and records patient data, including vital signs, height, weight, oxygen saturation, intake/output, and calorie counts, reporting findings to the RN/LPN/LVN.</li><li>
Supports patients with meals, feeding, bathing, oral care, grooming, linen changes, skin care, elimination assistance, and urinary catheter care.</li><li>
Assists with patient positioning, repositioning, dangling, ambulating, and using mobility aids such as walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs.</li><li>
Collects urine and stool samples and performs blood glucose monitoring via finger sticks, documenting and reporting results to the RN/LPN/LVN.</li><li>
Communicates patient information effectively to the care team, adapts to change, and maintains professionalism in all interactions.</li><li>
Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, including appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>
Participates in performance improvement initiatives, risk management reporting, and compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measures.</li><li>
May be required to maintain continuous visual observation of the patient and remains with them at all times unless relieved by appropriate personnel.</li><li>

Qualifications<ul><li>
0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred</li></ul>

Job Summary 
 
The Medical Technologist I performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision. This role ensures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to quality control protocols and maintaining laboratory instruments. The Medical Technologist I supports patient care by completing tests efficiently, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting in data collection for regulatory compliance. This position may also include teaching new employees and students and performing phlebotomy duties as needed. 
 
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Performs moderate and high complexity laboratory tests accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely reporting of results with appropriate documentation.</li><li>
Adheres to quality control procedures by performing required checks, analyzing data, troubleshooting out-of-range results, and taking corrective actions as necessary.</li><li>
Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly instrument function checks and preventative maintenance according to laboratory policies and procedures.</li><li>
Troubleshoots instrument malfunctions, attempting corrective actions or notifying the appropriate personnel or manufacturer as needed.</li><li>
Ensures all laboratory procedures comply with safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to the Laboratory Safety Plan.</li><li>
Communicates effectively with peers, supervisors, and other healthcare staff, providing timely updates on unusual patient results, instrument malfunctions, and quality control issues.</li><li>
Assists with proficiency testing and data collection required for laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliance.</li><li>
Collects chain-of-custody urine drug screens and performs phlebotomy duties as required to support patient care needs.</li><li>
Collaborates with team members to ensure shift duties and department responsibilities are completed efficiently and accurately.</li><li>
