 LSSI is hiring a full-time Counselor Case Manager. Responsible for assisting clients in achieving objectives and goals as identified and eliciting solutions while collaborating with clients. Also responsible for coordinating services for client care.
 Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm

Essential Functions: 
<ul>
<li>Manage a client case load of seven (7) to ten (10).</li>
<li>Develop and present up to five (5) didactic groups per week.</li>
<li>Provide counseling, both individual and group, and case management for assigned caseload.</li>
<li>Provide client education and monitor the milieu.</li>
<li>Communicate with supervisor, treatment team, and collateral agencies client needs and services.</li>
<li>Ensure all paperwork and documentation is complete in a timely manner and in accordance with policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) as an essential tool to complete clinical documentation and other job functions and requirements.</li>
<li>Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.</li>
</ul>
Position Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field preferred.</li>
<li>CADC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCPC preferred.</li>
<li>One (1) to three (3) year's experience in the substance abuse field preferred.</li>
<li>Trained and proficient in the use of an electronic health care record required.</li>
<li>Experience in Crisis Intervention and De-escalation preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.</li>
<li>Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.</li>
<li>Access to reliable transportation required.</li>
<li>Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.</li>
