Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience in various dental procedures. This role requires proficiency in both clinical and administrative aspects of dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.Duties<ul><li>Provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients of all ages.</li><li>Perform a variety of dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.</li><li>Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.</li><li>Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.</li><li>Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all clinical practices.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.</li><li>Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.</li><li>Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.</li><li>Experience with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus; experience in treating children is highly valued.</li><li>Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical documentation practices.</li><li>Strong understanding of anatomy related to oral health and proficiency in medical imaging techniques.</li><li>Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.</li><li>Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.</li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in dentistry.
