Job Overview Luxury Vans &amp; Shuttle Bus has been in the business for over 15 years providing charter service to high end clientele as well as crew transportation within the NYC airports. We are currently looking for an experienced dispatcher with at least 2 years in the luxury market/ freight dispatching with a strong background in the transportation industry within NY City and the Tri-State Area.We are looking for a serious professional to be part of our onsite office team. You should be an independent, dynamic team player to work with our company-owned vehicles, ranging from sprinter van to coach buses.The perfect candidate works well with others, is detail oriented, diligent, dependable, flexible with scheduling and is knowledgeable with landmarks and geography of the Tri-State Area. You should be well spoken with excellent phone and communications skills, be computer literate, well groomed and have a neat appearance as well as have a positive attitude and work well under pressure.We look forward to hearing from you.Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate and manage overnight dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of freight.</li><li>Utilize GIS and GPS technologies to optimize routing and transportation planning.</li><li>Input and maintain accurate data in transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine.</li><li>Analyze logistics data to identify trends and improve efficiency in dispatching processes.</li><li>Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders using multi-line phone systems.</li><li>Oversee shipping and receiving processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations.</li><li>Manage fleet operations, including scheduling maintenance and tracking vehicle performance.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
