 is currently recruiting for a Construction Supervisor, SMP to join our growing project team in Oman.
 
 
 The tasks you'll perform
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage the quality of output of the allocated project site discipline activities including alignment with company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the technical competence of the discipline contractor(s) ensuring that the allocated site activities meet the requirements of the Client and their projects in accordance with the contract, drawings and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the various procedures, work practices, plans, and protocols to ensure the contractor&rsquo;s site team works efficiently and maintains a consistent approach and consistently high standard of work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure safety, environmental, community and industrial relations, and quality plans and procedures are adhered to by the contractor.

 The expertise you'll bring
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong background in site construction and supervision with a broad multidisciplinary base in mineral processing plant / infrastructure construction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong background, training and awareness of statutory and industry standards in OHSE, IR and HR.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong background in the technical and quality control requirements of the specific work discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrate sound knowledge in contract management and controls.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good verbal and written communication skills.
 </li>

 Good organisational skills.

 Managerial-leadership ability.
 </li>

 Experience as an iron worker or pipefitter would be essential.

 Experience supervising erection of steel structures and tanks as well as installation of SAG and ball mills strongly preferred.

 Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role will be responsible for the accurate, timely and professional delivery of project deliverables in accordance with the company, client and projects requirements.
 
 
 
 The tasks you'll perform

 Organizing and coordinating project meetings and workshops

 Attending assigned project weekly/monthly meetings

 Preparing and formatting project related documents, minutes of meetings and reports.

 Produce complex technical documents with particular emphasis on formatting, presentation, accuracy, spelling and grammar, sometimes at short notice with immediate deadlines.

 Lead and ensure the accurate uploading, logging, filing &amp; distribution of project related documentation.

 Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance with the Company approved procedures.

 Coordination of Lycopodium personnel&rsquo;s travel to and from site and act as liaison between Global Mobility and the Client&rsquo;s logistics coordinator.
