Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support our HR department in various functions essential to effective workforce management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in human capital management, employee relations, and HRIS systems within a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.Prior HR Generalist experience required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Process factory labor and payroll for two locations, ensuring accurate timekeeping, attendance, and labor reporting.</li><li>Maintain day-to-day labor and attendance records, including tracking absences, tardiness, and time-off documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized employee personnel files, including employment documents, personal information, performance reviews, and leave/time-off records.</li><li>Assist employees by answering general questions regarding benefits plans, enrollment, and HR-related policies.</li><li>Support compliance with employment laws and company policies by ensuring employee records are current and required documentation is properly completed and filed.</li><li>Address basic employee concerns and help facilitate communication between employees and HR leadership.</li><li>Assist with HR programs and events such as benefits enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition activities, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee and company information.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support HR operations and business needs.</li></ul>Required Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>2-3 Years of HR Experience required, manufacturing industry preferred</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.</li><li>Basic understanding of HR principles, payroll processes, and employment laws.</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li><li>Willingness and ability to visit other plants as needed.</li></ul>Compensation range $55,000-$62,000The compensation range may vary based on experience, education, comparable job and industry skills. &middot; 401(k) matching&middot; Company-paid life insurance&middot; Health insurance&middot; Holiday pay&middot; Dental insurance&middot; Vision insurance&middot; Supplemental term life insurance&middot; Vacation/Paid time offLyon is an Equal Opportunity Minority/Female/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected Veteran and Affirmative Action Employer.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
