We are seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our development team. You'll be working on monolithic Spring Boot applications focused on backend development, with our DevOps team handling infrastructure and deployment. Required Experience &amp; Skills (Must Have) Core Technologies (3+ years)<ul><li>Java (Latest versions: Java 17+)</li><li>Spring Boot (Latest stable versions)</li><li>Spring Data JDBC for database operations</li><li>Maven for build management</li><li>PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and complex queries</li><li>Swagger/OpenAPI Specification for API documentation</li><li>Experience with Liquibase/Flyway for database migrations</li></ul>Technical Competencies<ul><li>Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development</li><li>Expertise in object-oriented programming and design patterns</li><li>Experience with monolithic application architecture</li><li>Proficiency in SQL optimization and database schema design</li><li>Experience with Git version control and collaborative development</li><li>Understanding of Spring Security for authentication and authorization</li><li>Knowledge of JUnit/Mockito for unit and integration testing</li><li>Experience with JSON/XML data formats</li></ul>Professional Skills<ul><li>3+ years of professional Java development experience</li><li>Proven track record of delivering production-grade applications</li><li>Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code</li><li>Experience working in Agile environments</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking</li><li>Good communication skills for team collaboration</li></ul>Good to Have (Preferred Skills)<ul><li>Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, component-based architecture)</li><li>Spring AI framework experience or interest in AI/ML integration</li><li>Experience with financial data systems or SEC filings</li><li>Knowledge of web scraping or data crawling systems</li><li>Understanding of AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS)</li><li>Experience with OpenAPI Generator or similar tools</li><li>Knowledge of Spring Boot Actuator for monitoring</li><li>Understanding of caching strategies (Redis, Caffeine)</li></ul>Education &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field</li><li>3+ years of proven professional experience in Java/Spring Boot development</li><li>Strong portfolio of completed projects</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
