The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development, cloud computing, and automation tools, as well as a passion for learning and continuous improvement.Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the DevOps team to design, build, and maintain our infrastructure and systems- Automate processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed- Implement and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data- Work with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new applications and updates- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our systems and processes- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systemsRequirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- 1-2 years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Administration role- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processesLocation: This position is based in San Francisco, CA. However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, remote work options may be available.Contract Details: This is a part-time position, with a commitment of 20 hours per week.
