1.Daily Procurement Operations<ul><li>Source and procure raw materials (copper, CRGO steel, transformer oil, Cast Resin insulation materials, hardware, consumables, etc.) required for production.</li><li>Raise purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders (POs) after approvals.</li></ul>2.Vendor Coordination &amp; Follow-Ups<ul><li>Maintain regular communication with suppliers and vendors to track order status.</li></ul>3.Price Negotiation &amp; Cost Control<ul><li>Negotiate rates, payment terms, transportation, and delivery schedules with vendors.</li></ul>4.Purchase Order &amp; Material Tracking<ul><li>Prepare and release accurate purchase orders as per company policies.</li></ul>5.Cross-Department Coordination<ul><li>Work closely with stores for material inward &amp; inventory control.</li><li>Liaise with accounts for vendor payments, invoices, and reconciliations.</li><li>Support production planning by ensuring timely material availability.</li></ul>6.Vendor Development &amp; Database Management<ul><li>Identify and qualify new vendors to expand the supplier base.</li><li>Maintain a vendor database with pricing, lead times, and performance records.</li></ul>7.Quality &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure purchased materials meet IS/IEC quality standards.</li><li>Obtain test certificates, compliance documents, and approvals from vendors.</li><li>Coordinate with QA team for material inspections.</li></ul>8.Audit &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain accurate procurement records, POs, invoices, and vendor contracts.</li><li>Support internal, statutory, and ISO audits related to purchase and inventory.</li><li>Prepare reports on procurement status, cost analysis, and savings achieved.</li></ul>Fresher can also apply.
