 systems on the west coast. The Company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas powered renewable energy generation systems on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters, biogas-powered electric generation, and renewable compressed natural gas upgrading.
 Position Description
 Maas Energy Works (MEW) is searching for a proactive and dynamic individual to join our legal team as a Legal Assistant. In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with our General Counsel to support the company’s legal operations. Your primary responsibilities will include organizing, drafting, and refining critical agreements, as well as facilitating contract communications from the start to final execution. You will play a key role in maintaining our legal database, ensuring timelines and records are always up to date with relevant information. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the success of an innovative and forward-thinking company.
 Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Draft/revise agreements.</li>
<li>Field phone and email inquiries regarding agreements.</li>
<li>Learn and clearly communicate the basis of agreement language to all parties upon request.</li>
<li>Organize agreement documents (digital & physical).</li>
<li>Manage contract progress with all active agreement parties that need to be executed and update timelines.</li>
<li>Schedule and manage meetings.</li>
<li>Draft minutes, resolutions and maintain corporate records.</li>
<li>Attend corporate meetings and track board actions and follow ups.</li>
<li>Coordinate with outside counsel to manage litigation matters.</li>
<li>Prepare documents for recording, as necessary.</li>
<li>Ensure that communications and progress are properly recorded in the Company database and regularly reported to the appropriate director and General Counsel.</li>

<li>Experience in Contracts/Agreements</li>
<li>Experience in Corporate Governance</li>
<li>Legal Experience preferred</li>
<li>Self-Motivated</li>
<li>Quick learner</li>
<li>Highly Organized</li>
<li>Willingness to Learn</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Word</li>
<li>Must be proficient in English</li>
