JOB OVERVIEW:</div><div>
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.</div><div>
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings</li><li>
Search products online</li><li>
Screenshot and crop photos for online listings</li><li>
Correct and complete information for each item</li><li>
Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals</li><li>
Other tasks as assigned by management</li></ul><div>
QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li>
Must be available to work onsite Monday &ndash; Friday for 8 hours with a half-hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager
</li><li>Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift</li><li>
Must be comfortable with web and browser-based software (Google/Amazon)</li><li>
Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time</li><li>
Must be tech savvy</li><li>
Must be able to follow written directions and company policies</li><li>
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent</li></ul></div>

<div>HR Consultant, Employee Relations &amp; Compliance
JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Salaried Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW:
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The HR Consultant, Employee Relations &amp; Compliance, supports all levels of employees with personnel matters. This position is a hybrid in-office/ work-from-home position, and reports to the HR Manager. This role is a key member of the HR team and is responsible for overseeing MAC.BID&rsquo;s workers&rsquo; compensation programs, attendance management systems, employee relations, and compliance functions across all warehouse locations. The position acts as a subject matter expert in workplace investigations, management counseling, performance management, and policy enforcement, playing a critical role in reducing risk, improving consistency, and strengthening manager capability. This role requires strong HR judgment, a high level of accountability, and the ability to operate with independence while partnering closely with Operations, Safety, Finance, Payroll, and HR leadership.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workers&rsquo; Compensation Administration, Injury &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>
Own the end-to-end workers&rsquo; compensation process, including reporting, claim management, carrier coordination, return-to-work programs, and state-specific compliance.</li><li>
Manage injury response and injury management, including directing managers on proper protocols, ensuring employees receive timely and appropriate medical evaluations, and coordinating required drug and alcohol testing.</li><li>
Ensure consistent use of injury reporting tools, panels of physicians, first reports of injury (FROIs), and reasonable suspicion procedures.</li><li>
Identify patterns, risks, and cost drivers and implement corrective measures to reduce injuries, claim frequency, and severity.</li><li>
Partner with Safety and Operations leadership to strengthen injury prevention practices and ensure consistent policy adherence.</li><li>
Serve as the escalation point for complex or disputed claims.</li></ul>
Attendance System Oversight &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Manage all aspects of the Attendance Counts platform, ensuring accurate data, correct point assessments, and compliance with company policy.</li><li>
Train managers on proper use of the system and corrective action protocols.</li><li>
Audit attendance records and trends; identify issues and support managers in applying fair and consistent discipline.</li><li>
Recommend policy updates based on trends, system performance, and legal changes.</li></ul>
Employee Relations &amp; Investigations<ul><li>
Conduct impartial and thorough investigations into complaints, policy violations, misconduct, and workplace conflicts.</li><li>
Document findings and recommend appropriate corrective action aligned with company policy and legal guidelines.</li><li>
Track ER trends and partner with HR leadership to proactively address systemic issues.</li></ul>
Manager Coaching, Training, &amp; HR Support<ul><li>
Provide day-to-day guidance to GMs, AGMs, and DMs on employee management, policy application, disciplinary actions, performance issues, and conflict resolution.</li><li>
Ensure managers follow compliant and consistent practices across all locations.</li><li>
Support terminations, corrective actions, and high-risk decisions.</li><li>
Build relationships and establish trust with internal customers.</li><li>
Advise and coach managers on all aspects of performance management, including:<ul><li>
Setting clear expectations and goals</li><li>
Providing constructive and regular feedback</li><li>
Identifying and addressing performance concerns early</li><li>
Conducting performance discussions and corrective action</li><li>
Documenting performance issues appropriately</li></ul></li><li>
Partner with leadership to ensure all performance actions are consistent, legally defensible, and aligned with company policy.</li><li>
Help identify employee development opportunities to strengthen performance and retention.</li><li>
Collaborate with HR and Training leadership to develop and deliver training on key HR processes, including:<ul><li>
Attendance management</li><li>
Injury management and workers&rsquo; compensation</li><li>
Progressive discipline and documentation</li><li>
Policy interpretation and enforcement</li><li>
Managing employee performance and coaching conversations</li><li>
Conducting investigations and maintaining confidentiality</li></ul></li></ul>
Policy &amp; Compliance Leadership<ul><li>
Interpret and apply employment laws across multiple states (FMLA, ADA, PWFA, wage/hour, state leave laws, workers&rsquo; comp, etc.).</li><li>
Assist in the creation, rollout, and communication of new or revised HR policies.</li><li>
Ensure alignment with companywide HR practices and long-term strategy.</li><li>
Support audits, reporting, and data analysis related to claims, attendance, and ER trends.</li></ul>
Other<ul><li>
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law</li><li>
Complete additional projects, tasks as assigned by the HR Manager</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Must be able to work in-office when necessary or as deemed by the HR Manager</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher preferred, plus a minimum of five years of mid-level employee relations and HR generalist experience</li><li>
Experience in a multi-location, high-volume operational environment (warehouse, logistics, retail, manufacturing) strongly preferred</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with investigations and workers' compensation</li><li>
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).</li><li>
Ability to analyze data and present it clearly to leadership.</li><li>
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to coach field leaders at all levels.</li><li>
High degree of integrity, discretion, and judgment</li></ul>
