We are currently seeking a motivated Real Estate and Corporate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing transactions, and conducting legal research.Key Responsibilities:&middot; Coordinate Real Estate Transactions: Acquisition and disposition of residential and commercial properties, including drafting and reviewing purchase and sale agreements, notes, mortgages, deeds, leases, affidavits, closing documents, and settlement statements&middot; Title &amp; Survey Review: Order and examine title, surveys, MLCs, and other due diligence items; resolve title defects, tenant issues, and final walk-through concerns&middot; Closings &amp; Post-Closing: Draft title insurance policies; oversee disbursements and wire transfers; and produce closing binders and submit government filings&middot; Corporate Governance: Draft and file formation documents for LLCs, corporations, and partnerships; obtain EINs, secure S corp status, and maintain corporate records&middot; Regulatory Filings: UCC filings, Department of Revenue and IRS submissions, and annual reporting&middot; Administrative Support: Provide backup coverage to other paralegals (probate, estate administration); conduct conflict checks; maintain databases; and review client billing statementsQualifications:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and/or paralegal certificate (ABA-approved preferred)&middot; Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate and corporate law&middot; Strong understanding of real estate transactions, including title review, property law, and lease agreements&middot; Familiarity with corporate structures, governance, and legal documentation&middot; Proficiency in legal research, document management, and office software (Microsoft Office, case management systems, etc.)&middot; Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines&middot; Strong communication skills, both written and verbalOur firm offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; matching 401(k) contributions; and paid vacation and sick time.If you are interested in being considered for this opportunity, please submit your resume and a cover letter.
