Planning Manager - 2799
 Facilitate seamless business practices between MacLean Power Systems and internal and external customers via thought leadership, process and technology recommendations, report development, implementation and on-going enhancements to processes, procedures, system changes, etc.
 Job Duties
 <ul>
<li>Responsible for executing the 80/20 strategy as it pertains to production planning</li>
<li>Lead the dialogue across co-dependent functions such as Purchasing, Management, Production, IT and Transportation in support of the 80/20 business strategy</li>
<li>Protect the financial performance of the business by identifying and communicating potential supply chain impact</li>
<li>Lead and Direct Production Planning Team</li>
<li>Generate daily/weekly reports on Open Order Status for all Customers</li>
<li>Maintain Production Tracker and publish daily to applicable teams</li>
<li>Maintain Schedule Attainment and publish daily to applicable teams</li>
<li>Conduct detailed analysis of Top 20 Customers and their open orders, publish daily reports on status, and work with Planners & Buyers to hit required delivery dates</li>
<li>Lead Planning team to analyze open order status and identify and correct any roadblocks preventing on-time delivery</li>
<li>Assist in investigation and identification of root cause and corrective actions for orders late to OPD</li>
<li>Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to create the stock status and inventory level reports (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, and order status)</li>
<li>Develop and distribute reports to be used in inventory and forecast planning meetings</li>
<li>Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately</li>
<li>Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)</li>
<li>Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Experience and Education
 <ul>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles</li>
<li>Perform complex tasks typically following established processes</li>
<li>Lead and direct the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions</li>
<li>Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures; may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning and procedural change</li>
<li>Typically require a bachelor's degree and at least 5-10 years of experience; masters preferred</li>
<li>APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent certification in demand planning, supply chain management preferred</li>
<li>Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)</li>
<li>Database query expertise</li>
<li>Manufacturing experience</li>
