 We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join us at our Houston office. This is a contract position that reports to the Managing Director and will be fast-tracked for a Director role. The right candidate will be a strategic, out-of-the-box thinker, who is detail-oriented and accountable for high-level performance.
 
 
 We are looking for a savvy number cruncher who is an expert at financial modeling and can turn around 13-week cash flow projections on the fly.
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Outstanding personality with the social versatility to work with senior executives, private equity firms, lenders, lawyers, middle managers and line workers of middle market companies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expert insightful analysis of operational P&amp;Ls and management financial forecasts
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to critically review and assess client management&rsquo;s forward-looking projections and business model
 </li>
 <li>
 Excel guru with expert level usage of formulas, pivot tables and macros
 </li>
 <li>
 History of exceptional work under time-constrained and otherwise pressure-filled circumstances
 </li>
 <li>
 Mastery of financial modeling, and cash flow projections
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in communicating analysis through MS Word and PowerPoint including expert level presentations, formatting, and quality control review
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong e-mail etiquette
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years of experience, preferably at a middle-market operating company or firm that works with middle market companies (investment bank, advisory, financial institution, Private Equity, or similar.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Always-on mentality and super-responsive nature
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong background in transaction-related business law and accounting concepts
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to work remotely as well as travel up to 70% of time
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Compensation:
 
 
 
 65% of $400 to $475/hr. billing rate, commensurate with experience and performance, bonus compensation goals, and employee benefits package.
 
 
 
 Location:
 
 Houston, TX and Remote.
