Position summary: Transcribes patient encounters in real‐time, including symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, and instructions for follow up care. May perform other clerical duties. High school and 1 year experience preferred.
Role qualifications:
Education
<ul><li>High School diploma or its equivalent.</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul><li>1 year Preferred</li>
</ul>
 Licenses/Certificate
<ul><li>BLS preferred but not required</li>
<li>Must attend in-services and staff meetings.</li>
</ul>
Position responsibilities:
<ul><li>Greet all patients and visitors courteously and kindly.</li>
<li>Insure that all patient information is updated in the computer prior to each visit.</li>
<li>Maintain all medical records insuring patient confidentiality.</li>
<li>Proper retrieval of medical records to / from other providers.</li>
<li>Maintain a good public image of the clinic when working with physician and patients.</li>
<li>Other various general office duties as assigned by the RHC Physician.</li>
</ul>
Essential skills and experience:
<ul><li>Must have the ability to type and use appropriate office equipment.</li>
<li>Must be able to use a personal computer for scheduling and retrieving of patient information.</li>
<li>Must be able to read and interpret components of medical charts.</li>
<li>Must be able to speak effectively to individuals. Employee is regularly required to talk and hear.</li>
<li>Specific vision abilities require close vision.</li></ul></div>
