The HOST (full and part time positions available) will be responsible for but not limited to:<ul><li>Greet all guests professionally and friendly upon arrival.</li><li>Complete understanding of menu and its ingredients</li><li>Communication and good teamwork with fellow FOH members as well as the BOH</li><li>Ability to meet guests needs and address complaints or issues promptly</li><li>Ensuring the dining room is set up and maintained during service</li><li>Ensures a clean and safe environment for guests and employees</li><li>Leaving the restaurant in a clean and organized manner at the end of your shift</li><li>Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays</li></ul>The ideal candidate must be able to:<ul><li>Understand and embrace our brand image and environment = Great &ldquo;first&rdquo; impression every day in appearance, speech, and personality</li><li>Read and interpret menus</li><li>Articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance</li><li>Clearly communicate guests&rsquo; needs to Servers, Bartenders, Runners, Managers, etc.</li><li>Hear well in a loud environment to answer telephone and respond to guest requests</li><li>Walk and stand during the entire shift</li><li>Understand and deliver requests for assistance</li><li>Bi-Lingual a plus</li><li>Must be 16 years old</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>You create your own salary by the volume of tips YOU earn through your service but Mac's offers a living wage of $12/hour inclusive of tips</li><li>50% discount on food and clothing apparel</li><li>Participation in Health Insurance Programs if employed 1 continuous year and average 25 Hours or more each week.</li><li>Participation in PTO (Paid Time Off) Policy if employed 1 continuous year and average 30 hours or more each week.</li></ul>If this sounds like you - then we want your application!
