Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Lawyer with strong legal research skills to support our firm in case preparation, drafting, and compliance matters. The primary responsibility will be conducting in-depth legal research, analyzing statutes, case laws, regulations, and preparing legal notes and briefs for internal and client use.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive legal research on case laws, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.</li><li>Summarize findings into clear, concise, and well-structured legal notes, memos, and briefs.</li><li>Assist senior lawyers in case strategy development by providing researched insights.</li><li>Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents as required.</li><li>Stay updated with latest amendments, notifications, and judicial pronouncements.</li><li>Support in drafting petitions, replies, and legal opinions under supervision.</li><li>Maintain an internal knowledge base of researched material for future reference.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>LLB / LLM from a recognized university.</li><li>Strong knowledge of legal databases (Manupatra, SCC Online, Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).</li><li>Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.</li><li>Ability to simplify complex legal issues into practical insights.</li><li>Strong command of written and spoken English.</li><li>Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.</li></ul>Preferred Attributes:<ul><li>Prior experience in legal research, law firms, or litigation support.</li><li>Good understanding of corporate laws, taxation, or subject-specific expertise.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
