Main Sail LLC is seeking an SAP Grants Management (GM) / Proposal to Reward (P2R) Functional Consultant to support grants management capabilities within an S/4HANA transformation. 
 
Leads the analysis, design, and implementation of S/4HANA Proposal to Reward (P2R) business processes, specifically within the Federal Grants Management (Grantor) domain. Acts as a functional subject matter expert for the end-to-end lifecycle of federal financial assistance, including program creation, application evaluation, and the legal obligation of funds. This role ensures that grant-making processes are transparent, merit-based, and fully integrated with federal budgetary controls. 
 
The P2R Functional Consultant is responsible for leading system analysis, end-to-end configuration, and cross-functional integration. Responsibilities include: 
<ul><li>Lead Requirement Gathering &amp; Design: Facilitate workshops to define requirements for Grantor Programs, Application Forms, Evaluation Schemas, and Agreement Management in accordance with 2 CFR 200.</li><li>Execute S/4HANA Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration of Grants Management (GM) and Public Sector Management (PSM), including Grantee Master Data, Sponsored Programs, and Sponsored Classes.</li><li>Budgetary Integration: Ensure that grant awards and obligations correctly interface with Funds Management (FM) to consume budget across the 3-dimensional structure (Fund, Funds Center, Commitment Item).</li><li>Grantor Lifecycle Management: Configure the Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus) to automate eligibility checks, merit scoring, and approval workflows for grant applications.</li><li>Technical Collaboration: Partner with developers to design and test interfaces with federal portals such as Grants.gov, SAM.gov, and USASpending.gov for DATA Act compliance.</li><li>Financial Reconciliation: Ensure the seamless flow of data between the Grantor front-end and the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) for automated accounting entries during award obligation and disbursement.</li><li>Testing &amp; Validation: Write and execute comprehensive test plans for the entire &quot;Proposal to Reward&quot; cycle, including stress testing the automated scoring engines and budget validation logic.</li><li>User Enablement: Deploy SAP Fiori apps for Grant Managers and Reviewers, providing real-time visibility into the grant pipeline, funding availability, and grantee performance metrics.</li></ul> 
Basic Qualifications: 
<ul><li>Extensive experience in SAP Grants Management (GM) and Funds Management (FM), with a deep understanding of the Public Sector Management (PSM) solution.</li><li>Proven experience with Federal Grantor processes, including the management of discretionary and mandatory grant programs.</li><li>Strong integration knowledge, specifically between P2R and Budget to Report (B2R) for federal reporting and Procure to Pay (P2P) for administrative contract management.</li><li>Proficiency in Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus) for designing automated decision-making logic and scoring models.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, capable of serving as a bridge between Program Offices, Legal/Compliance, and the technical IT team.</li><li>Technical Literacy: Ability to troubleshoot BRFplus rules, analyze FM ledger postings, and configure Flexible Workflow for grant approvals.</li></ul> 
Federal-Specific Requirements: 
<ul><li>Familiarity with 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) and federal audit requirements for financial assistance.</li></ul>
