 As Receptionist, you will serve as first point of contact for visitors and callers to MLB offices. You will provide efficient, courteous and personalized service that positively affects the users call/visit experience. You will also provide general administrative support to the Facility and Office Operations Department.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Operate high volume console to receive, screen and redirect calls.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize automated software system to schedule and confirm visitor appointments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Greet guests, visitors and job applicants, and announce their arrival.
 </li>
 <li>
 Answer and refer incoming inquiries to appropriate department(s).
 </li>
 <li>
 Enter large group meeting attendee lists into MyKastle building security system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use automated conference room booking system to reserve rooms. Monitor bookings daily to suggest potential adjustments needed to the schedule.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists with mail delivery, sorting and mail room monitoring duties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides general administrative support (filing, invoices, labels, copying) to the department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversees conference room inventory for kitchen accoutrements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs related duties as required.

 Qualifications &amp; Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Some college and a minimum of two years of experience in a reception or administrative role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience operating high volume, multi-line/directory phone system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent customer service aptitude.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to sit for long periods of time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent computer aptitude, including strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of conference room software, Condeco strong preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work overtime as needed.

 Pay Range:
 
 $22.00 - 23.00 per hour

Receptionist (Temp to Perm)

<div>Major League Baseball&rsquo;s Club Content Creator (Freelance) is responsible for producing original content in video and written form from a fan-first perspective for the Pittsburgh Pirates. We seek someone with a demonstrated passion for the Pirates, who can speak to the team&rsquo;s audience from a fan&rsquo;s perspective, regularly creating video and written content that will resonate with the hardcore fan, the casual fan, and everyone in between.
We want someone who lives and dies with the club, who is excited to produce content for an audience that shares their love of the Pirates.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Daily video and written content that touches on whatever topic is resonating with the fanbase that day
</li><li>Able to create a wide variety of content, ranging from news and analysis to whimsy, adjusting tone based on circumstances
</li><li>Communicate proactively with the club&rsquo;s PR staff to provide coverage of club initiatives and handle all team announcements
</li><li>Attending most home games to assist with player storytelling and game coverage
</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills
<ul><li>Ability to appear in, edit, and produce video content for site, app, and social media.
</li><li>An active presence on Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, X, and other social media platforms.
</li><li>Ability to write opinion and news articles as warranted.
</li><li>A built-in following among the fanbase, either from social media, YouTube, or previous coverage of the team, also a plus.
</li><li>Thorough knowledge of the history of the Pirates and an understanding of what makes their fanbase tick.
</li><li>High degree of accuracy.
</li><li>Experience with content management systems and web publishing.
</li><li>Basic HTML and Photoshop.
</li><li>Must be willing to work nights and weekends. Occasional travel may be required.
</li><li>Being open to feedback, direction and new approaches on how to cover a Major League Baseball Club is crucial.
</li></ul>Compensation
The Day Rate associated with this work will be commensurate with the skills and experience required to perform the tasks.
