We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Lahaina. This part-time position requires a professional who is energetic, self-driven, and committed to delivering an exceptional retail experience. The ideal candidate will possess prior retail sales experience, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a keen eye for merchandising.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Welcome all customers with with warmth and enthusiasm&mdash;make them feel like ohana</li><li>Provide thorough and informed assistance regarding products and services</li><li>Recommend additional items to customers and stay current with product offerings</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked retail environment</li><li>Operate POS systems with accuracy and efficiency during checkout</li><li>Communicate available promotions and discounts to customers</li><li>Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed</li><li>Understand daily sales targets and actively contribute to achieving them</li><li>Self-confident and self-motivated with a positive attitude and approach to work</li><li>Share customer feedback with the Store Manager to support continuous improvement</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Minimum of one year of experience in retail sales or a related role</li><li>Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer software (Word, Excel, Email)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to engage customers and support sales objectives, building trusting relationships with customers and co-workers</li><li>Strong verbal communication and teamwork capabilities</li><li>Familiarity with inventory stocking procedures and visual merchandising practices</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., reach, bend, and climb as needed</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts including holidays, weekends, and evenings</li><li>Ability to perform in fast-paced environments</li></ul>If you are passionate about retail and ready to contribute to a vibrant store culture, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team.Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 20.0 &ndash; 32.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Retail Apparel Store Associate: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
