Your Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lawrence, MA. This is a full-time opportunity at a community with 164 units of affordable family housing. You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.</li>
<li>Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, and general building maintenance.</li>
<li>Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.</li>
<li>Conducting inspections and maintaining building systems.</li>
<li>Updating maintenance logs and work order status.</li>
<li>Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.</li>
</ul>
The work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm with on-call duties shared on rotation.
Your Qualifications:

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of general apartment repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is required.</li>
<li>Experience with REAC/NSPIRE inspections is preferred.
</li><li>Experience with Yardi would also be a plus.
</li><li>A valid driver&rsquo;s license and access to a vehicle are required.</li>
</ul>
