Position Overview:We are looking for a highly motivated, resourceful, and experienced Restaurant Manager with strong purchasing and supply chain management skills to lead operations in our premium F&amp;B establishment located in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT). This dual-role position requires a balance of day-to-day restaurant management with strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and proactive engagement with the local business community to drive B2B revenue opportunities.The ideal candidate is both operationally hands-on and commercially savvy, with deep understanding of food ingredients, procurement best practices, and local supplier ecosystems &mdash; particularly those servicing the JLT and wider Dubai area.Key Responsibilities:1. Restaurant Operations &amp; Leadership<ul><li>Manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations ensuring exceptional service quality.</li><li>Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to maintain brand standards and deliver a memorable guest experience.</li><li>Oversee daily checklists, cleanliness, opening/closing procedures, and ensure operational compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations.</li><li>Handle customer feedback with professionalism and resolve complaints in a timely manner.</li><li>Monitor staff performance, create shift schedules, and conduct regular team meetings.</li></ul>2. Purchasing &amp; Inventory Management<ul><li>Handle all food and beverage procurement, ensuring cost-effective sourcing without compromising on quality.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with local and regional suppliers for ingredients, kitchen equipment, packaging, and disposables.</li><li>Source specialty or hard-to-find ingredients as required by the chef or concept.</li><li>Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained by implementing accurate stock-taking procedures.</li><li>Track purchasing KPIs including food cost percentage, wastage, and supplier performance.</li></ul>3. Supplier Negotiation &amp; Vendor Relations<ul><li>Identify and evaluate new supplier opportunities in Dubai to enhance product variety and quality.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and payment terms to maximize value for the business.</li><li>Ensure timely deliveries and monitor consistency of goods received.</li><li>Regularly review supplier agreements for price competitiveness and performance.</li></ul>4. Business Development (B2B Focus within JLT Community)<ul><li>Actively pursue and close B2B deals with offices, gyms, clinics, co-working spaces, and event organizers within the JLT and surrounding areas.</li><li>Promote corporate catering, meal plans, and bulk order packages.</li><li>Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and procurement officers in local companies.</li><li>Represent the brand at community events, expos, and networking forums in JLT to increase visibility and business connections.</li></ul>5. Financial Accountability<ul><li>Monitor operational expenses, supplier costs, and payroll to meet financial targets.</li><li>Work with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control strategies.</li><li>Maintain daily and weekly sales reports, tracking both dine-in and B2B revenue streams.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>4+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Procurement Manager, or similar role in the hospitality/F&amp;B industry.</li><li>Deep knowledge of food products, ingredients, and supply chain dynamics in the UAE.</li><li>Strong supplier database and proven negotiation experience.</li><li>Well-connected in the JLT community and/or ability to establish strong B2B ties.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems, procurement software, and inventory tools.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Fluent in English; Arabic, Hindi, or other regional languages are an advantage.</li><li>UAE Driving License (preferred).</li></ul>Key Attributes:<ul><li>Entrepreneurial mindset with attention to cost and quality.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Relationship-builder with a proactive, outgoing personality.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED6,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per monthExperience:<ul><li>restaurant manager: 4 years (Preferred)</li></ul>
