This is a hands-on role requiring confidence in procedures and daily patient flow.Responsibilities<ul><li>Phlebotomy (required)</li><li>EKG, spirometry, and ABI testing</li><li>Room patients, take vitals, assist providers</li><li>Insurance verification and eligibility checks</li><li>Schedule appointments and manage patient flow</li><li>Obtain prior authorizations for medications and testing</li><li>Accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW)</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) &ndash; required</li><li>Strong phlebotomy skills</li><li>Experience with EKG, spirometry, and ABI</li><li>eClinicalWorks experience required</li><li>Knowledge of insurance verification and prior auths</li><li>Reliable, organized, and punctual</li><li>Ability to commute between Manhattan and Forest Hills</li></ul>Pay &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive pay (based on experience)</li><li>Full-time, stable schedule</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 &ndash; 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant : 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
