Position Overview:*This position is a temporary to hire role* - hourly role, 1099.The Associate HR Manager supports day-to-day human resources operations while partnering closely with finance and leadership to ensure compliance, accurate reporting, and best-in-class employee practices. This role blends core HR responsibilities with accounting exposure, including payroll coordination, reconciliations, and workforce reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and comfortable operating at the intersection of HR, compliance, and finance.Key Responsibilities:Human Resources Operations<ul><li>Support and administer core HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy implementation</li><li>Ensure HR policies and procedures align with current employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices</li><li>Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll</li><li>Assist in performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and talent development programs</li><li>Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational needs</li></ul>Payroll, Accounting &amp; Reconciliations<ul><li>Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting</li><li>Perform payroll and benefits reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies</li><li>Assist with monthly and quarterly HR-related accounting entries, accruals, and reporting</li><li>Maintain accurate employee records impacting payroll, benefits, and financial reporting</li><li>Support audits by providing HR and payroll documentation as needed</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)</li><li>Maintain HRIS data integrity and support reporting for headcount, turnover, compensation, and benefits</li><li>Assist in the preparation of HR metrics and financial summaries for leadership</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field</li><li>3&ndash;6 years of progressive experience in HR, with exposure to payroll, accounting, or finance functions</li><li>Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements</li><li>Hands-on experience with payroll processing, reconciliations, and HRIS systems</li><li>High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working in a multi-state or fast-paced environment</li><li>Knowledge of GAAP concepts as they relate to payroll and benefits</li><li>HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) or accounting coursework a plus</li><li>Experience supporting audits or working closely with finance teams</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>100% Paid Healthcare</li><li>10% Match 403B!</li><li>Developmental Fund</li></ul>Publish to job boardsPay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 36.0 &ndash; 40.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
